Moral Thoughts and Principles in the Spatial Structure of Iranian Traditional Houses

اخلاق به‌عنوان يكي از معيارها و شاخصه‌هاي شناخت ابعاد وجودي انسان، از ديرباز تاثير زيادي بر ساختار فضايي خانه‌هاي سنتي ايران داشته‌است. محرميت و حريم نيز كه مفهومي اجتماعي است؛ ارزشي كليدي اخلاقي و زيربناي توجه به شان و منزلت انساني است. اين مفهوم به‌معناي حق افراد براي حمايت‌شدن دربرابر مداخله بي‌اجازه ديگران در زندگي افراد مي‌باشد. بنا بر آنچه‌ بيان‌شد هدف از نگاشتن تحقيق حاضر، تحليل و بررسي ارزش‌هاي اخلاقي در ساختار فضايي خانه‌هاي سنتي ايران با تاكيد بر محرميت و حريم خصوصي است. روش تحقيق به‌كار گرفته در آن هم از نوع توصيفي- تحليلي است. بدين منظور نخست از طريق شيوه‌هاي تحقيق كتابخانه‌اي، مفاهيم مرتبط با موضوع مورد بررسي از كتاب‌هاي برخي انديشمندان، صاحب‌نظران، آيات و روايات اسلامي استخراج‌شده و سپس نقش محرميت و حريم خصوصي در ساختار فضايي خانه‌هاي سنتي بحث و تفسير شده‌است. پس از بررسي‌هاي لازم نتايج به‌دست آمده بيانگر اين است كه محرميت و حريم خصوصي نزد ايرانيان بسيار حايز اهميت بوده و مردم در اين مورد از آيات و روايات اسلامي الگو گرفته‌اند. ازطرف ديگر، محرميت و حريم خصوصي در ساختار فضايي خانه‌هاي سنتي ايران نمود و تجلي خاصي يافته كه به‌وضوح مي‌توان آن را در ابعاد مختلف ساختار فضايي همچون ورودي، هشتي و حياط مشاهده نمود.

As one of the criteria and indicators for understanding existential aspects of human, ethics has had a great influence on the spatial structure of the Iranian traditional houses for a long time. Confidentiality and privacy which is a social concept are key moral values and the basis of attention to human dignity and esteem, and mean people’s right to be supported against others’ unallowable intervention in their lives. The purpose of this study is to analyze and evaluate the moral values in the spatial structure of the Iranian traditional houses focusing on the “confidentiality and privacy”. The method of the study is descriptive-analytic. First, through library research techniques, the concepts related to this issue were derived from several books of scholars, thinkers and Islamic verses and traditions, and then the role of confidentiality and privacy in the spatial structure of the Iranian traditional houses has been discussed and interpreted. The results of the study show that confidentiality and privacy are very important issues among Iranians and people have used Islamic verses and traditions as their model in this special field. On the other hand, confidentiality and privacy in the spatial structure of Iranian traditional houses have special manifestation that can be clearly seen in different aspects of spatial structure including awning, entrance and vestibule.
