عشق و محبّت، اكسير حيات است و بهانه بودن؛ و اگر عشق نبود، هيچ نبود. اين معنا در جهان‌بيني عرفاني كه آثار مولانا نمونه‌هاي درخشان آن است، ژرف‌تر و لطيف‌تر بيان مي‌شود. عرفا معتقدند كه اصل همه محبّت‌ها حضرت حقّ است و از اوست كه محبّت در همه هستي جاري و ساري مي‌شود. عشق، راز آفرينش و چاشني حيات و خميرمايه‌ تصوّف و سرمنشا كارهاي خطير درعالم و اساس شور و شوق و وجد و نهايت حال عارف است كه با رسيدن به كمال، به فنا در ذات معشوق و وحدت عشق و عاشق و معشوق منتهي مي‌شود. عشق وديعه‌اي الهي است كه در وجود انسان نهاده شده و با ذات و فطرت وي عجين گشته و انسان پيوسته به دنبال معبود و معشوق حقيقي بوده است. مولانا مي‌گويد: نـاف مـا بـر مهر او ببـريده‌انـد عـشق او در جـان مـا كاريده‌اند مولانا به سبب سوز عشقي كه در دل دارد پلّه پلّه مقامات تتبّل تا فنا را پشت سر مي‌نهد تا به ملاقات معشوق حقيقي نايل آيد. عشقي كه مولانا از آن صحبت مي‌كند عشق حقيقي و راستين است نه عشق‌هاي رنگين كه عاقبت به ننگ انجامد.

The molana says: Our novel are catting wite her emotion Her love are cultivated in our nature. The molana with cause of love anyuish in heart, gratnally pay behind of perfection to destruction for arriving to real lover. That molana says from it. Is real and perfect love, no tinted love that finally arrive to distain. Love made the man to arrive easily to prospering and perfection and fundamentally god created the man to be love and difference of man with anyeal is this that anyeal is unable of perceive love. And love is speeial for man and is putting in his nature.
