Snoezelen Room for People with Special Needs

روش اسنوزلن مبتنی بر تحريك حسی و آرامش‌آموزی است. در اين روش با استفاده از مواد و وسايل و تجهيزات ويژه رنگی، نور، اشياء متحرك، صداهای گوناگون، بوهای مختلف و اجسام دارای بافت های گوناگون (زبری، نرمی و ...) به افراد با نيازهای ويژه كمك می‌كنند تا به محرك های حسی پاسخ درست بدهند. در واقع اين روش نارسايی‌های نظام حسی را اصلاح می‌كند و با برآوردن نيازهای حسی افراد با نيازهای ويژه بر عملكرد آنها تأثير مثبت می‌گذارد. در اين مقاله روش و اثر روش اسنوزلن بر حواس گوناگون افراد با نيازهای ويژه و مزايای آن به طور خلاصه ارائه شده است. سپس وسايل و تجهيزات ويژه برای تحريك و تقويت حس بينايی، شنوايی، لامسه، بويايی، چشايی و تعادل ارائه شده است.

Snoezelen method is based on relaxation and sensory stimulation. In this method with using special equipment and materials such as colored, light, moving objects, different sound, different smells with various textures(roughness, softness and …) helps people with special needs to give the correct  response to sensory stimuli. Actually this method modifies the deficiencies of sensory system and with meeting of sensory needs of people with special needs have positive effects on their performance. In this article we discussed briefly the snoezelen method, the effect of snoezelen method on different sense of people with special needs and advantages of snoezelen method. Then the special equipment and materials to stimulate and improvement the sense of sight, hearing, touch, smell, taste and vestibular are provided.
