Nonsurgical management of soft tissue around the restorations of maxillary anterior implants: a clinical report

زمينه و هدف: كنترل نسج نرم جهت تأمين زيبايی در رستوريشن يك ايمپلنت تك دندان در قدام ماگزيلا اهميت ويژه‌ای دارد. آماده‌سازی و شكل‌دهی بافت به ايجاد يك Emergence profile صحيح و ظاهر طبيعی دندان كمك می‌كند. هدف از اين مطالعه‌ ارايه يك مورد كنترل غير جراحی كانتور نامناسب بافت نرم اطراف ايمپلنت‌های واقع در قدام ماگزيلا برای رسيدن به زيبايی مطلوب می‌باشد.روش بررسی: يك دختر 23 ساله دچار فقدان مادرزادی دندان‌های لترال ماگزيلا، پس از درمان ارتدنسی ثابت و تأمين فضای لازم، تحت جراحی قرار گرفت و دو عدد ايمپلنت در محل‌های مورد نظر جايگذاری شد. پس از انجام جراحی دوم و سپری شدن دوره التيام، به دليل كلاپس شديد نسج نرم، امكان ساخت رستوريشن‌ها به روش متداول مقدور نشد. در اين مورد با ساختن رستوريشن‌های موقتی، كانتور نسج‌ نرم به روش غير جراحی اصلاح شد و در ادامه رستوريشن‌های نهايی تهيه و نصب گرديد.نتيجه‌گيری: شكل‌دهی بافت نرم به وسيله رستوريشن موقتی به برقراری مجدد كانتورهای طبيعی لثه و پاپيلای بين دندانی اطراف يك رستوريشن متكی بر ايمپلنت در قدام ماگزيلا، كمك شايانی می‌نمايد.

Background and Aims: Soft tissue management with providing the esthetic for restoration of a single implant in the anterior maxilla is of great importance. Tissue training helps to develop a proper emergence profile and natural tooth appearance. The aim of this article was to report a nonsurgical management of undesirable contours of soft tissue around maxillary anterior implants to achieve an optimum appearance.Materials and Methods: A 23-year-old female with congenital missing of maxillary lateral incisors, after completion of a fixed orthodontic treatment and gain enough space, received 2 dental implants. After second phase surgery and healing period, construction of the restorations was not possible through conventional method because of severe soft tissue collapse. In this case, soft tissue contours were corrected using a provisional restoration and then final restoration was made and delivered.Conclusion: Tissue training with a provisional restoration helps to re-establish normal gingival tissue contours and interdental papillae around the restoration of maxillary anterior implants.
