Study and Analysis of Praised and Censurable Ignorance

در بيشتر متون عرفاني غفلت با مفهومي منفي نگريسته شده و آن را همواره به عنوان اولين گام سقوط سالك و عامل دوري از مسير سلوك مي‌دانند. صوفيان غفلت را حجابي عظيم دانسته كه سالك طريقت در مسير سلوك با آن مواجه مي‌شود . حجابي در مسير راه بيگانگان و نااهلان عشق كه مولد و مورث شقاوت و فلاكت است. تا آنجا كه معتقدند غفلت مهمترين عامل حسرت در روز قيامت و يكي از خانمان سوزترين مصيبت‌هاي انساني، عامل گمراهي و انحراف از صراط مستقيم و دوري از درگاه باري است . نكته قابل تامل كه اساس اين پژوهش نيز بر آن استوار است آن است كه مولانا بر خلاف ديگر عرفا، غفلت را ستون و اساس دنياي مادي دانسته و معتقد است كه اين غفلت براي قوام و پايداري اين جهان ضروري و بايسته است و عامل عمارت و آباداني دنياي مادي است . مفهومي كه مولانا با تحليل و تمثيل در پي اثبات آن است و در ديگر متون عرفاني و صوفيانه بدان اشاره نشده است.

In the majority of mystical literature texts, ignorance is considered with a negative concept and has always been considered as the first step of the mysticʹs downfall and the cause of deviating from the spiritual journey. Sufis take ignorance as a huge cover which the Tariqa devotee come up with on the path of spiritual journey, a coverage on the way of strangers and non-lovers generating and inheriting wickedness and misery. As far as they believe, ignorance is the most significant cause of envy in the Judgment Day Resurrection and one of the devastating calamities of human being, cause of deviation from the right path and refraining from the Almighty. The point of reflection upon which this paper is prepared is the fact that Mowlana as opposed to other mystics takes ignorance as the pillar and basis of the materialistic world and believes that this ignorance is necessary and adequate for the survival and sustainability of this world and makes it developed. What Mowlana tries to prove through allegory and assimilation is what is not mentioned in other mystical and Sufi literature.
