ماجراي كربلا تراژدي سهمگيني است كه همه صحنه‌هاي آن لبريز‌ از احساس و عاطفه و ايثار و عشق است. درباره حادثه بزرگ عاشورا، از جهات مختلف سخن گفته‌ شده، اما بسياري از اسرار بنيادي اين قيام و شهادت، همچنان نيازمند تامل و دقت است. يكي از ابعاد متنوع و مهم اين حادثه، بعد عرفاني آن است، كه هرگاه چنين ماجرايي در منظر تيزبين و لطيف عارف قرار گيرد و بر مفاهيم بلند عرفاني منطبق گردد و با زبان رمز و تمثيل و بهره‌گيري از قدرت تصاوير شاعرانه، عرضه شود، زواياي تازه‌اي از آن آشكار مي‌شود. مقاله حاضر كوششي است در راه دست يابي به زبده انديشه هاي دو تن از نام آوران ادبيات عرفاني ايران در خصوص عرفان عاشورايي: مولانا جلال الدين محمد بلخي و عمان ساماني. نويسنده كوشيده است نخست با استفاده از آثار مشهور اين دو شاعر و نيز با ياري جستن از شرح و تفسيرها و كتاب‌هاي تحليلي برجسته‌ترين جنبه هاي عرفان عاشورايي را در انديشه آنان مطرح نمايد و آن گاه با استناد به ابياتي از آثار برجسته اين دو شاعر، عرفان عاشورايي را در اشعارشان بررسي نمايد و در نهايت با مقايسه تطبيقي نقاط اشتراك و اختلاف انديشه اين دو شاعر بزرگ را باز نمايد.
