مقدمه: همكاري علمي بين‌المللي يكي از زاويه‌هاي مهم همكاري علمي است كه بررسي خصوصيات آن در ميان محققان مي‌تواند جنبه‌هاي تازه‏اي از رفتارهاي ارتباط علمي آن‌ها را روشن نموده و در تدوين سياست‌گذاري‏ها، مديريت استراتژيك پژوهش و تسهيل همكاري به كار گرفته شود. در اين راستا، هدف پژوهش حاضر تعيين همكاري علمي بين‌المللي اعضاي هيات علمي دانشگاه علوم پزشكي شيراز بوده است. روش بررسي: روش پژوهش حاضر تحليل استنادي و نوع مطالعه كاربردي بوده است. اين مطالعه بر روي مقالات جستجو شده در پايگاه استنادي Web of Science در بازه زماني سال‏‏هاي 2011- 2005 ميلادي انجام گرفته است. پس از بررسي و پالايش در برنامه Excel در نهايت تعداد 338 مقاله به دست آمد. يافته‏ها با استفاده از آمار توصيفي ( نمودارهاي فراواني) و آمار استنباطي (ضريب همبستگي اسپيرمن) در نرم‌افزار Excel تحليل شد. يافته‌ها: تعداد كل مقالات تاليف مشترك همكاري بين‌المللي در طول دوره مورد بررسي 338 عدد بوده است كه برابر با 6/11 درصد كل مقالات نمايه شده در Web of Science (2893 عدد) بوده است. ضريب همبستگي اسپيرمن نشان‌دهنده رابطه‌اي مثبت ميان نرخ رشد كل مقالات با مقالات تاليف مشترك بين‌المللي است (344/0rs= )0 بيشترين همكاري به ترتيب با ايالات متحده آمريكا، استراليا و انگلستان بوده است. در مجموع 313 عضو هيات علمي دانشگاه شيراز در چرخه تاليف مشترك بين‌المللي فعاليت داشته‏اند. نتيجه‌گيري:به طوركلي مي‌توان گفت روند تاليفات مشترك بين‌المللي اعضاي هيات علمي دانشگاه علوم پزشكي شيراز در دوره مورد بررسي رو به افزايش بوده است. در عين حال، نسبت مقالات تاليف مشترك بين‌المللي در مقايسه با كل مقالات پايين است. از طرف ديگر، معني‌دار نبودن رابطه ميان افزايش توليدات علمي و افزايش همكاري‌ها مي‌تواند حاكي از آن باشد كه رشد كل مقالات الزاماً معلول رشد مقالات تاليف مشترك بين‌المللي نيست. عكس اين رابطه نيز مي‌تواند صحيح باشد. واژه هاي كليدي: نويسندگي؛ توليد علم؛ اعضاي هيات علمي؛ پايگاه هاي اطلاعاتي؛ استناد

Abstract Introduction: International scientific collaboration is one of the important aspects of scientific collaboration and study of different aspects of it is conducive in demonstrating scientific communication behavior of faculty members. Findings of its study can be used in policy making, strategic management of research and paving the way for collaboration. Regarding that, this research is to study international scientific collaboration among Shiraz University of Medical Sciences faculty members. Methods: Research method was citation analysis and research type was applied. This study was carries out on the articles published by researchers affiliated with Shiraz University of Medical Sciences in WOS from 2005–2011. Data were examined and modified in Excel which resulted into 338 records. Findings were analyzed with descriptive statistics (frequency charts) and inferential statistics (Spearman Correlation) in Excel software. Results: Based on the results, there were 338 internationally published articles which constitute 11.6 percent of all of the articles (2893) published in WOS during 2005-2011. Spearman test of correlations showed a weak and positive correlation between the rate of the growth of all of the articles and internationally authored articles (rs: 0.344, p value= 0.544). The most number of collaborations were with US, Australia and England respectively. Overall, 313 faculty members wrote their articles with international collogues. Conclusion: In general, the rate of internationally collaborated articles grew during the timed studied. However, the proportion of their growth in comparison to the growth of all articles is small.
