نگاه به آينده و ارايه تصويري اميد‌ساز و هول‌انگيز از آن، امري است كه در سخنان رسول‌خدا? به روشني مي‌توان ديد. اما بررسي دقيق‌تر آموزش‌هاي آن حضرت به تامل در سخناني نياز دارد كه بر مخاطبان خود القا كرده است. وصول به اين سخنان، با توجه مشكلات در تدوين حديث به‌ويژه در منابع اهل‌سنت، كاري دشوار است كه جز بر اهل تحقيق مقدور نيست. در چنين تحقيقي بايد هم به بررسي اعتبار و تهذيب مصادر پرداخت و هم بررسي اسناد را جدي گرفت. اگرچه رسول? براي اكمال دين و تبيين همه معارف قرآني به تمامي ابعاد بحث مهدويت توجه داشته است، اما تكرارها و تاكيدهاي آن حضرت نشان از آن دارد كه برخي محورهاي مباحث مهدوي بيشتر مورد توجه بوده كه حاكي از نياز بيشتر مخاطبان در تبيين اين قسم از آموزه‌هاست. مهم‌ترين اين محورها عبارتند از: معرفي مهدي? و اين‌كه او از اهل‌بيت پيامبر است، سيره و رفتار او همانند رسول خدا? خواهد بود، غيبت‌هايي خواهد داشت و مومنان به سبب اين غيبت‌ها دچار مشكلاتي خواهند شد، مومنان صبور در غيبت جايگاهي بلندتر از ياران عصر حضور دارند، ظهور پس از ياس و غلبه فساد رخ خواهد داد.

Looking ahead to the furture and providing a promising and great vision of Apperance of the Saviour is something that can be seen clearly in the words of the holy prophet. However, a closer examination of his training needs to reflect on the influence that the audience is feeling. Corresponding and accessing to the speeches is difficult to the lay person, especially given the difficulties experienced in compiling hadith of Ahl-ol-sunnah and understanding the complex sources is beyond people, except to the the very seasoned researchers. Such a study should be focused closely on the reliability of the sources and serious scrutiny of the documents.The prophet has attended to a complete set of discussions on all aspects of the messianic message for finality of the Islamic religious and full explication of the Quranic teachings. However, some iterations and emphasis found in the words of prophet shows his attention to ne more pronounced on some topics amongs Mahdavi issues that suggests the need for further explanation of this sort of teachings to the audience. The main axes of these teachings are the introduction of Mahdi and explaoning that he will be from the Ahlulbayt and that he is the mirror of the Prophet Muhammad in his behavior and manners. This explanations could have been necesary due to the problems faced by his Absence for the people of faith. The patient believers in the age of Absence have a higher rank than his faithful companions in the age of Apperance. The Apperance happen after despair and corruption will take over the world.
