Morality from Saadis and Greek Philosophers’ point of view

مسيله‌ اخلاق مقوله‌اي است كه از ديرباز در جوامع متمدّن، دغدغه‌ خاطر بزرگان فلسفه و ادب و مصلحان اجتماعي بوده‌ است. سعدي نيز به عنوان اديب و مصلحي اجتماعي، در آثار خود بر اين مسيله‌ مهم تاكيد و به ترويج محاسن اخلاقي اهتمام مي‌ورزد. وي در تعليم آموزه‌هاي اخلاقي، پس از تعاليم اسلام، به گفتار فيلسوفان هم توجه داشته‌ است. فلاسفه‌ يونان قديم، به اخلاق عنايتي ويژه داشته و نظريات ارزنده‌اي در اين زمينه عرضه كرده‌اند. فيلسوفان مسلمان در آثار خود برخي از اين انديشه‌ها را نقل نموده‌اند و از طريق آثار آنان، اين آرا به آثار ادبي راه يافت ‌است. سعدي بيش‌تر به واسطه‌ نوشته‌‌هاي ابن مسكويه و ابوالحسن عامري و نه به‌طور مستقيم، با افكار يونانيان آشنا شده و آن‌ها را در آثار تعليمي خود بازتابانده‌ است. در اين مقاله، سعي بر آن است تاثير حكيمان يونان بر سعدي، با توجه به مشابهت گفتار آنان با يكديگر نموده‌ شود. بنابر اين پرسش اصلي مقاله اين است كه سعدي در چه مواردي تحت تاثير انديشه‌هاي حكيمان يونان بوده‌ است؟ اين پژوهش به دو بخش اصلي فضايل اخلاقي و رذايل اخلاقي تقسيم مي‌شود. در مبحث فضايل اخلاقي، علم و حكمت، تحمّل و فروتني دانايان، شجاعت و ظلم‌ستيزي، بلندنظري، فضل و توانگري و دوستي و اتحاد از نظر سعدي و حكماي يونان بررسي مي‌گردد؛ در بخش رذايل اخلاقي، به مباحثي چون خبث طينت، سخن چيني و دروغ از نظر حكيمان و سعدي پرداخته مي‌شود.

The subject of morality is an issue that the great philosophers, scholars and social peacemakers have been concerned about it in civilized communities. Saadi as a scholar and social peacemaker has emphasized on this important subject in his works ad he has tried to promote moral beneficences. He has notified to speech of philosophers in educating of moral courses, of course after the Islamic catechisms. The ancient Greek philosophers have had a special notification in morality and presented precious views. Moslem philosophers transcribe some of these thoughts in their works and through of these works, the thoughts of Greek philosophers have acceded to literary works. Saadi has accustomed to Greek philosophersʹ viewpoints through of Ibn Moskouyaʹs and Abu- Al-Hassan Ameriʹs books (not directly by reading Greek works) and he has reflected these opinions in his didactic works. This article tries to show impression of the Greek philosophersʹ view on Saadiʹs by studying the similarity of their speeches. Therefore, the original question is in which cases Saadi has been under impression of Greek philosophers? This survey divides to two chapters: virtues and wicked acts. In virtues, similarities of Saadi’s speeches about: science and philosophy, tolerance and humility of wises, braveness and fighting against cruelty, proper pride, excellence and richness, and finally friendship and unity compare to Greek philosophers words. And in wicked acts, similarities of speeches in: being ill- natured, tale – bearing and lie are proceeded.
