Analysis of social capital dimensions in the virtual social network

اين پژوهش به عنوان يك تحقيق كاربردي بر آن است تا يكي از ابعاد سرمايه اجتماعي را در ميان جوانان عضو شبكه هاي اجتماعي مجازي مورد بررسي قرار دهد. مدل بررسي بر اساس مدل ولمن است. ولمن سرمايه اجتماعي شبكه را در سه بعد ساختي، تعاملي و كاركردي مورد بحث قرار داده كه هر بعد نيز از شاخص هاي خاصي تشكيل شده است. در انجام پژوهش از دو روش تركيبي استفاده شده است. يعني دو روش اسنادي و پيمايشي را تلفيق نموده ايم. در واقع در اين پژوهش ادبيات تحقيق و مباني نظري بر اساس روش اسنادي گردآوري شده است، اما ادامه مسير يعني جمع آوري و تجزيه و تحليل اطلاعات بر اساس روش پيمايشي انجام شده است. با توجه به گستردگي تحقيق، در اين مقاله تنها به بررسي يك بعد از ابعاد سرمايه اجتماعي پرداخته شد و آن بعد، بعد كاركردي سرمايه اجتماعي است. در بعد كاركردي نيز ميزان انواع ششگانه ارايه و دريافت حمايت اجتماعي بررسي گرديد كه به تفكيك در قالب توزيع فراواني در مقاله نشان داده مي شود. نتايج نشان مي دهد كه جوانان عضو شبكه هاي اجتماعي مجازي عضو ميزان حمايت اجتماعي متقابل را پايين مي دانند؛ به طوري كه حدود 8/62 درصد ميزان حمايت را كم، 5/19 درصد متوسط و 8/17 درصد زياد مي دانند

The present research aims at studying the social capital in virtual social networks (Virtual social capital). Its theoretical bases are related to the theories discussed by classic as well as contemporary sociologists. The researchʹs theoretical framework is Wolmanʹs theory of the social capital network. He has provided three models: missed society; leaved society and preserved society; and considered the networkʹs social capital in three dimensions: structural dimension (the networkʹs size and configuration), interactive dimension (contact frequency, the relation and intimacy severity) and functional dimension (supports); and assumes them as this researchʹs bases. The research has been conducted using a combination of survey and documentary methods. In fact, the literature and theoretical bases have been collected using documentary method; however data collection and their analysis have been performed using survey method. Statistical population consists of all Farsi language virtual social networks in which Iranian users have been members and have continuous interactions. The sample volume was predicted as 400 people based on the amended Cochranʹs formula. Sampling method was snowball method. Of course, since data were collected in a theoretical space, interviews were conducted in the form of questionnaires sent through e-mail; the answering system was as self-responding. Respondents answered the items and questions in the virtual space. In the statistical analysis various methods have been applied including one-variable (descriptive statistics), two-variable (different statistical tests) and multi-variable (regression and route analysis).
