برنامه هاي آموزش پيش حرفه اي و حرفه اي براي افراد ناتوان در كراچي پاكستان

Pre-Vocational and Vocational Training Programs for the Persons with Disabilities in Karachi, Pakistan

اين مطالعه به تحقيق درباره وضع برنامه های آموزش پيش حرفه ای و  حرفه ای برای افراد ناتوان در كراچی پاكستان طراحی شده است. اطلاعات لازم  به وسيله پرسشنامه ساختاری از 23 مدرسه ويژه واقع در كراچی جمع آوری و نمونه گيری به صورت هدفمند انتخاب شده است. فرضيه ها با كمك ضريب درصدی و خي2  آزمايش شده‌اند. نتايج اين مطالعه نشان می دهد كه بيشتر مدارس ويژه تنها برنامه های آموزش پيش حرفه ای ارائه می كردند و مدارس كمتری دوره های حرفه ای داشتند. دليل ارائه دوره های پيش حرفه ای اين بود كه، وسايل كمتری به دليل نبود درخواست های عرضه و تقاضا نياز بود تا دوره ها برگزار شود. همچنين هيچ برنامه درسی استانداردی برای دوره های حرفه ای ارائه شده در مدارس ويژه وجود نداشت. مدارس ويژه هيچ اطلاعاتی از مكان هايی كه دانش آموزان را بعد از ترك مدرسه جذب می كردند، نداشتند. بعضی دانش آموزان شغل هايی در حوزه های مهارتی كه آموزش ديده بودند به دست می آوردند، بعضی از آنها هم شغل هايی در حوزه‌های ديگر كسب می كردند و به بعضی ديگر هم بدون هيچ توجهی درباره مهارتشان گفته می شد" به خانه برو".  نتيجه به دست آمده از اين پژوهش اين بود كه هيچ برنامه آموزش پيش حرفه ای و حرفه ای مؤثری برای افراد ناتوان در كراچي  وجود ندارد.  

This research study has been designed to investigate the status of pre-vocational and vocational training programs for the persons with disabilities in Karachi. Data were collected with the help of structured questionnaire from 23 special schools located in Karachi and selected through purposive sampling. Hypotheses were tested through percentage and Chi-square method. Results of the study indicated that most of the special schools were offering only pre-vocational training programs and few schools were offering vocational courses. The reason for providing vocational courses was that fewer resources were needed to conduct the courses and not because of the market demands. There was no standard curriculum for the vocational courses offered to special students. The special schools did not have any record as to where as the students were absorbed after leaving the schools. Some students got jobs in the skill areas in which they were trained, some got jobs in other areas and some were said to ”go home” with no further details on their activities. It was concluded that there are no such affective pre-vocational and vocational training programs for the persons with disabilities in Karachi.
