اخلاق فن‎آوري اطلاعات؛ نگاهي به گذشته و چشم‌اندازي به آينده

Information Technology Ethics; Look to the Past and Landscape to the Future

هدف: در اين مقاله تلاش مي‌شود تا با نگاهي گذرا به تاريخ تكامل اخلاق فن‌آوري اطلاعات و شكل‌گيري موضوعات و مسايل مطرح در اين قلمرو، ماهيت اخلاق فن‌آوري اطلاعات تبيين گردد. از اين‌رو، بر اساس موضوعات و مسايل مطرح در اخلاق فن‌آوري اطلاعات، اين حوزه مطالعاتي به‌مثابه حوزه مطالعاتي ميان‌رشته‌اي معرفي مي‌شود. مبتني بر اين نگرش، چشم‌انداز اخلاق فن‌آوري اطلاعات ترسيم مي‌گردد. در ادامه، به برخي رهيافت‌هاي متعدد فلسفي به اخلاق فن‌آوري اطلاعات اشاره مي‌شود، هر كدام از اين رهيافت‌ها موجب اتخاذ تدابير راهبردي و كاربردي متنوعي براي هدايت مسايل و موضوعات اخلاقي مذكور مي‌گردد.روش: بخش عمده‌ا‌ي از اين مقاله مبتني بر روش تحليل محتواي كيفي است. با استفاده از اين روش تلاش مي‌شود تا با مراجعه به مقالات و آثار مطرح در حوزه اخلاق فن‌آوري اطلاعات، نتايج قابل قبولي از متون مربوطه حول اهداف فوق استنتاج شود.يافته‌ها: چشم‌انداز آينده اخلاق فن‌آوري اطلاعات مبتني بر دو فرضيه رقيب، يكي امكان پيدايش انقلابي اخلاقي و ديگري حل شدنِ آن در نظريه‌هاي متعارف اخلاقي را نويد مي‌دهد. به نظر مي‌رسد، آنچه هرگونه ادعا و پيش‌بيني در اين باره را موجه مي‌سازد، استلزام‌هاي فلسفي نهفته در مفروضات اخلاق فن‌آوري اطلاعات است كه پيامدهاي متعددي را در قالب روش‌هاي تحليلي متفاوت نسبت به مفهوم‌سازي‌ها و تفسير رابطه فن‌آوري اطلاعات و جامعه به وجود مي‌آورد. در اين مقاله به سه رهيافت‌ فلسفي موجبيت‌گرايي فن‌آورانه، برساخت‌گرايي اجتماعي و پديدارشناسي نسبت به اخلاق فن‌آوري اطلاعات اشاره مي‌شود. اصالت/ارزش: ارزش اين مقاله، تبيين ماهيت اخلاق فن‌آوري اطلاعات است كه اين موضوع از رهگذر نگاهي به تاريخ تكامل اخلاق فن‌آوري اطلاعات، ارايه مهمترين موضوعات و مسايل مطرح در اين قلمرو و معرفي آن به عنوان حوزه مطالعات ميان‌رشته‌اي است؛ آنچنان كه اين تكامل مبتني بر رهيافت‌ها و استلزام‌هاي متعدد فلسفي است

Abstract Purpose: The aim of the current study is to reveal the inherent nature of information technology ethics. It gives an overview of the evolution of information technology history, and addresses the introduction of topics and issues into this field. Based on the relevant topics and issues associated with information technology ethics, it is considered to be an interdisciplinary field. This attitude affects the future outlook of information technology ethics. Within this paper some philosophical approaches to these ethics, which will lead to the variations of strategic and applied decisions, will be discussed. Methodology: The main approach to this research project is qualitative content analysis. An attempt is made to arrive at the appropriate results through the study of outstanding papers on the topic. Findings: There are two competitive hypotheses for the future outlook of information technology ethics. One predicts the introduction of ethical revolution and the other believes its combination with the current standard philosophical approaches. It seems that the different hypotheses are justified through the philosophical implications of the assumptions of information technology ethics. Different assumptions lead to various outcomes, using different analytical approaches, to the understanding and interpretation of the relationship between information technology and society. In this paper, three philosophical approaches are studied: technological determinism, social constructivism, and phenomenology. Originality/Value: This paper explains the nature of information technology ethics. The evolutionary history of information technology ethics and some of the topics and issues associated with this are discussed. In addition, this field is recognized as an interdisciplinary field of study. The evolutionary process implies various philosophical approaches and implications.
