بررسي ابعاد علمي و فرهنگي دارالشفا در دوره مغول

A Survey of the Scientific and Cultural Aspects of Dār ـ alshifa in the Mongol Period

در سال‌هاي نخستين هجوم مغولان بسياري از عناصر فرهنگي ايران در معرض انهدام قرارگرفتند، اما مدتي ‌بعد بازتوليد فرهنگي در ايران آغاز شد. حمايت مادي ومعنوي از دانشمندان، و پديد‌آمدن موسسات فرهنگي و اجتماعي در پوشش نهادهاي وقفي به اين امر بسياركمك كرد. علي‌رغم گسترش و ساخت دارالشفاهاي بسيار در اين دوره، در پژوهش‌هايي كه در اين زمينه صورت گرفته دو عامل فرهنگ و وقف به طور اخص مورد بررسي قرار نگرفته است. تحقيق حاضر گذشته از معرفي واقفان و بررسي انگيزه‌هاي اجتماعي و فرهنگي آن‌ها در ساخت دارالشفا، به بررسي و آزمون اين فرضيه مي‌پردازد كه طي دوران مغول ـ ايلخاني، واقفان با حمايت‌هاي مالي و معنوي خويش از موسساتي مانند دارالشفا، قادر شدند مانع از ركود و انحطاط فرهنگي ايران شوند. براي اين مقصود، از روش تحقيق تاريخي با رويكرد توصيفي و تحليلي استفاده شده است. واژگان كليدي: موسسات علمي ـ فرهنگي، واقفان، دارالشفا، مغولان، ايلخانان.

In the early years of Mongols’ attack, many of the cultural elements of Iran were destroyed, but after a short period of time, cultural reproduction soon started due to the material and spiritual support provided by scholars and researchers as well as the establishment of cultural and social centers under the aegis of charitable foundations. However, despite the foundation and development of many health centers entitled ‘D?r ـ alshifa’ in this era, studies carried out in this relation have never given the full attention to the role played by the two following motivation factors: culture and endowment. The present study not only introduces the benefactors of the era and analyses their cultural and social motives for building D?r ـ alshifa as, but also tests this hypothesis that during the Mongol ـ Ilkhanid period, benefactors – through their financial and spiritual support of foundations like D?r ـ alshifa as – were able to halt the cultural decline and stagnation in Iran.
