Al-Tanbihat va Al-Sabʹʹ Al-ʹʹAlaviat

Al-Qasaʹed al-Sabʹ al-ʹAlaviat from Ibn Abi al-Hadid (d. 655 AH) is considered one of the finest poetries composed in praising Amir al-Moʹminin Imam Ali Ibn Abi Talib (AS) by mentioning his virtues and Imam Hussein (AS) by referring to his calamities and dispraising their enemies. Considering the value of this great and massive work, it has been explored by the authors of the past and present time. Some have explained it, some have made a Takhmis of it and some others have translated it into other languages. Investigating these explanations and works of Takhmis, we have found some of them available, and some of them out of reach and probably lost in the passage of time. One of the aforementioned explanations of the poetry al-Sabʹ al-ʹAlaviat is a work called later by others al-Tanbihat though there are different opinions about its writer. In this article, we aim to highlight what captured the attention of the writers in al-Sabʹ al-ʹAlaviat, including the explanations, works of Takhmis, translations and university theses writings in a complete field indexing and to deal as much as possible with an explanation called al-Tanbihat aʹla Maʹani al-Sabʹ al-ʹAlaviat in a descriptive-analytical manner. Furthermore it is tried to find the writer and to look at his life and origin to remove the existing vagueness of the issue.
