تحليل استنادي مدارك علمي ‌دانشگاه علوم پزشكي قم با روش‌هاي علم‌سنجي تا جولاي 2014

Citation Analysis of Scientific Documents of Qom University of Medical Sciences Using Scientometric Methods up to July 2014, Iran

زمينه و هدف: امروزه، از شاخص‌هاي علم‌سنجي در اندازه‌گيري كمّي علوم در سطح ملي و بين‌المللي به‌منظور مقايسه عملكرد علمي استفاده مي‌شود. در اين مطالعه تحليل استنادي توليدات علمي‌ دانشگاه علوم پزشكي قم تا نيمه اول سال 2014 مورد بررسي قرار گرفت. روش بررسي: در اين مطالعه توصيفي - مقطعي تمامي ركوردهاي علمي ‌منتسب به دانشگاه علوم پزشكي قم به مدت 10 سال بررسي شد. داده‌هاي مورد نياز براساس جستجو در پايگاه استنادي اسكوپوس (Scopus) به دست آمد. داده‌ها با استفاده از آمار توصيفي به تفكيك سال انتشار، ارجاعات، خوداستنادي و شاخص (Hersh Index) HI تحليل و اولويت‌بندي شدند. يافته‌ها: تا ابتداي جولاي سال 2014، تنها 252 ركورد علمي‌ در پايگاه علمي Scopus با آدرس دانشگاه علوم پزشكي قم توسط 149 نويسنده ايندكس شده بود كه شاخصH دانشگاه برابر با 12 و در بين 70 مركز علمي‌ دانشگاهي مرتبط با حيطه پزشكي، رتبه چهل و يكم را كسب نمود. چهار آدرس وابستگي(Affiliation) متفاوت از دانشگاه وجود داشت. روند افزايشي در تعداد مدارك علمي، ارجاعات و خودارجاعي در ركوردهاي علمي‌ دانشگاه مشاهده شد. نتيجه‌گيري: طبق نتايج اين مطالعه، روند رشد ركوردهاي علمي ‌دانشگاه تا سال 2013، روندي افزايشي با شيب سريع بوده است كه البته براساس برآورد 6 ماهه اول در سال 2014 از سرعت آن كاسته خواهد شد. فقط تعداد اندكي از اعضاي هييت علمي دانشگاه در توليد علم در پايگاه‌هاي استنادي مشاركت داشته‌اند، بنابراين به‌نظر مي‌رسد افزايش توانمندي‌سازي پژوهشگران در جهت ارتقاي سطح دانشگاه الزامي است.

Background and Objectives: Todays, scientometric indeces are being used in quantitative measurement of sciences at the national and international levels to compare the scientific performance. In the current study, citation analysis of scientific outputs of the Qom University of Medical Sciences, were evaluated until the first half of 2014. Methods: In this descriptive cross-sectional study, all scientific records attributed to the Qom University of Medical Sciences, were evaluated for 10 years. The required Data were obtained by searching the Scopus scientific database. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and prioritized according to the year of publication, citation, self-citation, and Hirsch Index (HI). Results: Since the beginning of July 2014, only 252 scientific records were indexed in the Scopus database by 149 authors affiliated to the Qom University of Medical Sciences, so that the university’s H Index was 12 and it acheived the 41st rank among 70 scientific academic centers related to medical field. There were four different affiliations of the university in Scopus. An increasing trend was observed in the number of scientific documents, citations, and self citation in the scientific records of the university. Conclusion: According to the results of this study, the growth trend of scientific records of the University has been an increasing trend with rapid slope, which of course this speed will decrease according to estimate of the first half of 2014. Only a few faculty members of the university contributed to knowledge production in citation databases. It seems that increase in the ability of researchers is necessary to promote the level of the university.
