The PLace of Children in an Islamic City in Regard to Religious Teachings

اسلام در ايجـاد، شكـل گيري و توسعه بسياري از شهرهاي جهان اسلام نقش مهمي داشته است، به طوري‌كه برخي از اين شهرها نقش هاي فراملي و بين المللي دارند. اسلام بر طراحي فضاها و محيط هاي شهري براي رفع نياز‌هاي اقتصادي، اجتماعي و فرهنگي تمام افراد جامعه تاكيد مي كند. در ميان قشرهاي مختلف جامعه، كودكان رابطه نزديكي با محيط اطرافشان دارند و فضاي شهر مي تواند بر رشد شخصيتي، اجتماعي و جسماني آنها تاثيرگذار باشد. درك و فهم مفاهيم مديريت شهري از منظر تفكر اسلامي به مديران شهري كمـك مي كند تصميماتشان متناسب با فرهنگ اسـلامي باشد. هدف مقـاله حاضر، تاكيد بر جايگاه كودكان در فضـاهاي شهري بر اساس تعاليـم اسلامي است. روش تحقيق در مقاله حاضر از نوع توصيفي _ تحليلي _ استنباطي مي باشد. نتايج پژوهش حاكي از آن است كه در تعاليم اسلام بر مديريت، طراحي و برنامه ريزي فضاهاي شهري تاكيد شده است و با توجه به نيازهاي روان‌شناختي كودكان، فضاها و محيط هاي شهري بايد زمينه رشد و تربيت ديني آنان را فراهم آورند.

Islam has a significant role in the creation and expansion of many of the cities of the Islamic world, in such a way that some of these cities have transnational and international functions. Islam emphasizes planning urban spaces and environments for fulfilling economic, social, and cultural needs of all people of society. Among various strata of society, children have close relationships with their immediate environment and the city space can have an effect on their personality, social, and physical development. Understanding the concepts of urban management from the perspective of Islamic thought can help urban managers make decisions proportionate to the Islamic culture. The present article aims at emphasizing the place of children in urban spaces based on Islamic teachings. The method adopted in this research is of descriptive-analytical-inferential type. The outcomes suggest that in Islamic teachings the emphasis has been laid upon the management or the planning urban spaces; and, given the children’s psychological needs, the urban spaces and environments have to prepare the ground for their religious growth and education.
