The Role of Reason in Religious Knowledge and Its Limits

مسيله نقش عقل و محدوديت هاي آن در شناخت معارف دين، همواره مورد بحث بوده است. برخي معتقدند كه عقل هيچ نقشي در شناخت معارف دين ايفا نمي كند و گروهي ديگر نيز براي عقل نقش هاي مختلفي به صورت حداكثري و حداقلي در شناخت قايل اند. در اين مقاله براساس نگاه شيعي به مسيله عقل و دين تلاش شده است تا ضمن اثبات حجيت و اعتبار عقل در شناخت معارف، نحوه نقش آفريني آن كه به سه شكل عمده يعني ميزان، ابزار (مصباح) و منبع شناخت (مفتاح) است، ابتدا اثبات و سپس مورد بررسي و تحليل قرار گيرد. ضمن اينكه محدوديت هاي عقل در شناخت برخي عرصه هاي معرفتي تحليل و به برخي مصاديق آن نظير عدم ادراك ذات خداوند، عدم ادراك جزييات دين، ناتواني در نفس شناسي، ناتواني از انشاي حكم و اعمال مولويت، عدم امكان شناخت همه حقايق عالم و ناتواني از درك برخي امور اخروي نظير معاد جسماني اشاره شده است.
