بررسي و تحليل حماسه‌هاي «مضحك» و گونه هاي آن در زبان فارسي

A Study of the "Mock Epic " Genre in Persian

حماسۀ مضحك یكی از گونه های ادبی و نوعی تقلید مضحك و طنزآمیز است كه در آن زبان و اسلوب فخیم حماسی برای توصیف عملی بی ارزش یا هدفی غیر متعالی به كار می رود. صفت مشخص حماسۀ مضحك، ناهم سازی میان موضوع و سبك یك اثر است كه در آن موضوعی عوامانه با انشاء عالی و كلماتی فاخر خاص حماسه بازگو می شود. گاهی نیز برعكس، موضوعی برجسته با زبانی عامیانه اما در وزنی حماسی بیان می گردد كه بنا به تعریف منتقدان غربی «بورلسك» نامیده می شود. چنین به نظر می رسد كه آفرینش‌گران حماسه های مضحك فارسی، به تفاوت بین بورلسك و حماسۀ مضحك توجهی نداشته اند. در این مقاله پس از ارائۀ تعریف‌هایی برای حماسۀ مضحك، ویژگی هایی چون شخصیت های مضحك، تقلید تمسخرآمیز از شاهنامۀ فردوسی، توصیف و تصویرسازی مضحك، ناهم سازی میان موضوع و زبان، تمسخر عناصر حماسی مثل حوادث داستانی مضحك، نامه نگاری طنزآمیز، اغراق طنزآمیز و... تشریح می شود تا بدین ترتیب شباهت و نزدیكی حماسۀ مضحك به طنز و حماسه نشان داده شود. برای آن كه جایگاه حماسۀ مضحك میان انواع طنز و حماسه دریافت شود، انواع حماسۀ مضحك از نظر قدمت، حجم، قالب، زبان و بیان، رواج و قدمت، به شیوهای توصیفی- تحلیلی معرفی می گردد. سپس با این یادآوری كه ژرف ساخت اغلب حماسه های مضحك فارسی انتقادهای سیاسی- اجتماعی است، ابعاد گوناگون حماسۀ مضحك بررسی می شود.

Mock epic " is a genre of mocking and satirical imitation that employs the elevated language and style of the epic to describe prosaic actions without value or purpose. The mock epic is characterised by a disparity of subject matter and style, i.e. a popular, common place subject is recounted with perfect eloquence and cast in the elevated vocabulary that is typical of the epic. Occasionally, it also happens that a lofty subject is expressed in popular language but couched in the rhythm of epic: according to the Western definition, this type is called "burlesque. "It appears that the authors of Persian mock epics did not take account of the difference between burlesque and mock epic. This paper offers a definition of the mock epic before specifying its features such as ridiculous characters, satirical imitation of Ferdowsi’s Shāh-nāma, comical descriptions and images, disparity of subject matter and language andsatirical treatment of epic elements (comical turns of plot, humorous exchanges of letters and ironic exaggeration) to show the similarities and affinities that link the mock epic to satire and epic. In order to situate the mock epic among other kinds of satire and epic, the various types of mock epic are delineated according to time period, length, form, style and popularity, based on a descriptive-analytical method. Finally, while bearing in mind that the Persian mock epic rests on a deep structure of socio-political criticism, the different aspects of the genre are examined.
