تدوين برنامه راهبردي گروه علم اطلاعات و دانش شناسي دانشگاه شهيد چمران اهواز با استفاده از تحليل *SWOT

Compilingthe strategic program of the department of knowlege and information science (Shahid Chamran University) , using SWOT analysis

هدف: پژوهش حاضر با هدف شناسايي مهم‌ترين نقاط قوّت و ضعف داخلي و هم چنين مهم‌ترين فرصت‌ها و تهديدهاي گروه علم اطلاعات و دانش شناسي دانشگاه شهيد چمران اهواز و تدوين برنامه راهبردي اين گروه با استفاده از تحليل سوات انجام گرفته است. روش: در اين پژوهش، براي شناسايي عوامل داخلي و خارجي از مطالعات كتابخانه اي، سياهه وارسي، و گروه دلفي استفاده شد. جامعه پژوهش را اساتيد گروه، دانشجويان دكتري و ارشد، اساتيد با سابقه دانشكده علوم تربيتي و روان شناسي و ساير اساتيد رشته علم اطلاعات و دانش شناسي كه به نحوي با اين گروه در ارتباط بودند تشكيل مي دادند. براي تجزيه و تحليل عوامل از ماتريس سوات و وزن دهي رتبه اي استفاده شد. يافته ها: يافته ها نشان داد داشتن دانشجو در مقاطع كارشناسي، كارشناسي ارشد (دو گرايش) و دكتراي سهميه آزاد، دكتراي سهميه خاص مربيان، و دكترا در سطح بين المللي با امتياز وزني 55/0 مهم‌ترين قوّت، كمبود فضا و امكانات كتابخانه دانشكده و عدم وجود منابع مالي در گروه هر دو با امتياز وزني 20/0 مهم‌ترين نقاط ضعف و وجود قطب علمي "مديريت دانش" با امتياز وزني 40/0 و بازنشستگي قريب الوقوع بخش اعظم اعضاي هييت علمي گروه با امتياز وزني 35/0 به ترتيب مهم‌ترين فرصت ها و تهديدهاي گروه شناسايي شدند. ارزش/ اصالت: اين نخستين پژوهشي است كه براي تدوين برنامه راهبردي گروه هاي علم اطلاعات و دانش شناسي كشور (مطالعه موردي: دانشگاه شهيدچمران اهواز) با استفاده از مدل برنامه ريزي سوات به همراه وزن دهي انجام شده است.

The present study aimed at identifying the most important internal strengths and weaknesses and the most significant opportunities and threats regarding the knowledge and information science department of Shahid Chamran University.It was also intended to compile a strategic program for this department using SWOT analysis. In order to identify internal and external factors, the library method, check list, and Delphi study were employed. The participants consisted of university teachers and professors, PhD candidates, MS students, experienced professors at the faculty of education and psychology and other professors at the knolege and information science major and which were, in one way or another, related to this department. In order to analyze the factors, SWOT matrix and weight ratings were applied. The results showed that there were good and weak points providing opportunities and threats to this department. Among the opportunities, having PhD and MS students with a weight of 0.55 could be mentioned. The shortage of space and facilities of university library, lack of financial resources in the department with a weight of 0.20 were among the threats. The scientific pole of Knowledge Management with a weight of 0.40 and the imminent retirement of most scientific board members of the department with a weight0.35 were, respectively, the most important opportunities and threats to the department. It appears that the present study is the first attempt to compile a strategic program for the information science and universology department in Iran (Case study: Shahid Chamran University) using SWOT analysis and weight ratings
