Structural analysis of Jawaheri’s Poems: A case study of two religious odes

امروزه روشن شده است كه ادبيات، رويدادي است كه در متن زبان جنبه پيدايي به خود مي گيرد؛ چرا كه زبان به ادبيات شكل مي دهد و بدان هويت مي بخشد. در واقع زبان يك نظام آوايي، دستوري و واژگاني براي بيان انديشه و احساس است. با مطرح شدن مكتب صورتگرايي و پس از آن ساخت گرايي، ناقدان بر اين عقيده شدند كه اثر ادبي را بدون هرگونه پيش زمينه‌اي بايد نگريست و در نقد و تحليل متن ادبي، بايد تنها به خود اثر پرداخت، نه به حوزه‌هاي بيرون از قلمرو ادبيات. بر اين اساس، مقاله حاضر ضمن روشن كردن شيوه تحليل ساختاري- كه جزيي از تحليل زبان-شناسي است -به صورت نظري در آثار منظوم، ‌با پياده كردن اين نظريه علمي بر دو قصيده برجسته شاعر معاصر عراقي محمد مهدي جواهري، به دنبال كشف ساخت مشترك و در نتيجه ويژگي‌هاي زباني شاعر است، هرچند رسيدن به ساخت مشترك و ثابت، با تحليل مجموعه اي وسيع از آثار، ممكن خواهد بود. برخي از يافته هاي پژوهش، حاكي از آن است كه وزن و بحر در هر دو قصيده با مفهوم و محتواي آنها هماهنگ است، هم حروفي و هم آوايي اندك در اين دو قصيده، باعث ضعف موسيقي دروني آن ها شده است. پس، از يك سو ساختار واژگاني و كلمات محوري در دو قصيده به خوبي در خدمت انديشه و عاطفه شاعر قرار گرفته و از سوي ديگر، هنجارگريزي و آشنايي زدايي، موجب برجسته سازي زبان شعري هر دو قصيده شده است.

Today, it is clear that literature is an event that becomes apparent within the context of language; since it is language that gives form and identity to it. In fact language is a system of phonetic, grammatical, and lexical to express thoughts and feelings. With the coming of formalism then structuralism, critics became of the conviction that a literary work should be studied without any backgrounds. In analysing a literary work, the text should be considered on its own rather than dealing with areas outside the domain of literature. Accordingly, the present article aims to employ a structural analysis, which is part of linguistic analysis. By using theories and applying them to poetical works on two religious odes of a great contemporary Iraqi poet, Mohammad Mahdi Jawaheri, the paper seeks to explore a common structure which is due to the linguistic features of the poet. Although reaching a common and fixed structure is achievable through analysis of a large collection of literary works. Some of the findings indicate that foot and metre in both odes are related to their content. Assonance and consonance in both odes are well placed to serve the poetʹs thought and affectivity and on the other hand deviation and defamiliarization leads to poetic language in both odes.
