بررسي ميزان مشاركت اجتماعي و عوامل موثر بر آن در بين كاركنان كتابخانه‌هاي شهر تبريز

A Study of Factors Related to Social Participation amongst the Staff of Tabriz Public Libraries

هدف: هدف اصلي پژوهش حاضر بررسي ميزان مشاركت اجتماعي و عوامل موثر بر آن در بين كاركنان كتابخانه‌هاي شهر تبريز است. روش: اين پژوهش به روش پيمايشي انجام شده است و چون جامعه آماري 155 نفر بود، كل جامعه پژوهش مورد بررسي قرار گرفت. براي اندازه‌گيري متغيرهاي تحقيق از پرسشنامه محقق‌ساخته استفاده شد. روايي صوري پرسشنامه با استفاده از نظرات اساتيد و متخصصان امر و پايايي آن با آلفاي كرونباخ اندازه‌گيري گرديد. يافته‏ها: در اين تحقيق، ميزان مشاركت اجتماعي در حد متوسط بدست آمد. آزمون فرضيه‌ها نشان داد كه بين مشاركت اجتماعي و متغيرهاي اعتماد بين‌فردي و بيگانگي اجتماعي همبستگي معكوس وجود دارد ولي بين متغير كسب پاداش و مشاركت اجتماعي همبستگي مستقيم وجود داشت و بين متغير كسب پاداش و متغير اعتماد نهادي و پايگاه اقتصادي- اجتماعي كاركنان رابطه معني‌داري وجود نداشت. از بين متغيرهاي زمينه‌اي نيز ميزان مشاركت براساس جنسيت معني‌دار، و مشاركت اجتماعي در بين كاركنان مرد بيشتر از كاركنان زن بود. در مجموع مي‌توان گفت تركيبي از عوامل فردي و اجتماعي در قالب مدل نظري برآمده از نظريه‌هاي تبيين رفتار و مشاركتي، اين نتيجه را تبيين مي‌كنند. مشاركت كاركنان مورد بررسي، داراي جنبه‎هاي ذهني و شناختي بود كه ارزش و اهميت آن بالاست. با توجه به ضريب تبيين محاسبه شده در خصوص معادله رگرسيوني مطرح شده كه در سطح نسبتاً پايين قرار داشت، به‏نظر مي‌رسد كه براي تبيين مشاركت اجتماعي كاركنان بايد متغيرهاي مبين ديگري نيز وارد معادله شوند و سطح تحليل را بايد از سطح خُرد و مياني فراتر برد و متغيرهاي كلان تاثيرگذار بر فرآيند مشاركت را نيز كه معمولاً در خارج از محدوده سازمان‌ها و نهادها قرار مي‌گيرند مورد توجه قرار داد. اصالت/ارزش: با توجه به اهميت مشاركت اجتماعي در توسعه فرهنگي، اجتماعي و اقتصادي جامعه، كارمندان كتابخانه ها به دليل ارتباط با قشر وسيعي از دانشجويان، استادان، روشنفكران و عامه مردم، مي‏توانند نقش اساسي در اين راستا ايفا نمايند. اين پژوهش از نخستين پژوهش‏هاي در نوع خود است.

Purpose: In this research, we want to study staff social participation, and its related factors, amongst librarians of Tabriz public libraries. Methodology: This is a survey. The research population includes all 155 librarians from Tabriz public libraries. Data was collected using a researcher- made questionnaire. The validity of the questionnaire is confirmed by experts, and its reliability was measured by Cronbachʹs alpha. Data analysis was performed using the SPSS software package. Findings: Results show that the level of social participation amongst the staff of Tabriz public libraries is at a medium level. Findings also show an inverse correlation between social participation and the two variables of "interpersonal trust" and "social alienation" , but a direct correlation between social participation and "reward motives". There is no statistical correlation between "institutional trust" and "the socio-economic status of the librarians" . There is a significant correlation between social participation and the basic variables such as gender; so that the social participation of male librarians is more prevalent than that of female librarians. All in all, a combination of individual and social elements is involved in the construction of the theoretical model, based on behavior and participation theories. Based on these findings, the significance of social participation is strongly recognized by the research community. The clarification coefficient in regression equation is on a low level, so it seems that we need some other illustrative variables to explain the levels of social participation. We should also take the analysis level further than micro, and macro levels, and consider effective macro variables related to social participation from outside library organizations. Originality/value: By paying attention to the importance of social participation in the cultural, social and economic development of a society, library staff due to their high levels of communication with large groups of students, teachers, scholars and the general public, can play a key role in this regard. This study is the first of this kind of research.
