Science Museums and Cultural Capital

اين مقاله در پي بررسي تاثير موزه ها به خصوص موزه هاي علوم و مراكز علم بر تشكيل، رشد و گسترش سرمايه فرهنگي در جامعه است و در راستاي رسيدن به اين هدف ابتدا در بخش مباني نظري با مروري بر تاريخچه تشكيل، تحولات در نقش و كاركردهاي موزه ها طي تاريخ به نقش آموزشي موزه به عنواني يكي از محوري ترين نقش ها در موزه هاي علوم تاكيد مي كند. در ادامه با تشريح و بسط مفهوم سرمايه فرهنگي و برشمردن كاركردها و تاثيرات آن در جامعه، تقسيم بندي انواع سرمايه فرهنگي را ارايه مي دهد. سپس با استفاده از روش تحليل استنادي و روش استقرايي به بحث در مورد روابط، نقش و تاثيرات موزه هاي علوم و مراكز علم در تشكيل سرمايه فرهنگي و به تبع آن توسعه فرهنگي و علمي كشور خواهد پرداخت و براساس نتايج به دست آمده پيشنهادهايي به منظور بهبود عملكرد موزه هاي علوم و فناوري و مراكز علم در راستاي رشد و گسترش سرمايه فرهنگي در اقشار مختلف جامعه و رسيدن به اهداف توسعه پايدار ارايه مي كند.

This paper aims to examine the impact of museums, especially science museums and science centers on formation, growth and development of cultural capital in the society. In order to achieve this goal first, in the theoretical basics section, with an overview of the history of the formation and changes in the role and functions of museums through history, the educational role of museums as one of the most important roles of museums especially in science museums has been emphasized. Then by elaborating and extending the concept of cultural capital and by enumerating its functions and effects on society, varieties of cultural capital categories have been offered. Then by citation analysis and deductive approach the relationships, roles and impacts of science centers and science museums in the formation of cultural capital and consequently in the scientific and cultural development of the country has been described. Finally, based on obtained results some suggestion are recommended for improving the performance of science and technology museums and science centers for development of cultural capital in society and in achieving sustainable development.
