بررسي نقش و رابطه نظارتي استاد راهنما و دانشجو از ديدگاه دانشجويان دوره كارشناسي ارشد

Study of Directorial Role and Relationship of Supervisor and Student from Graduate Students’ Perspectives

هدف كلي تحقيق، بررسي ديدگاه دانشجويان كارشناسي ارشد در خصوص نقش استاد راهنما و دانشجو در فرايند تهيه پايان نامه، چگونگي درك و ميزان رضايت از رابطه نظارتي با استاد راهنما و عوامل موثر بر انتخاب استاد راهنما بود. رويكرد تحقيق كمي و روش تحقيق توصيفي- پيمايشي بود. جامعه آماري تحقيق دانشجويان دوره كارشناسي ارشد دانشگاه كردستان و نمونه شامل 200 نفر دانشجو بودند. نمونه‌گيري به شيوه طبقه‌اي متناسب با حجم انجام گرفت. در اين پژوهش از سه پرسشنامه هنجاريابي شده، استفاده شد. نتايج نشان داد كه براي انتخاب استاد راهنما عوامل طرز برخورد و رفتار اجتماعي استاد با دانشجويان داراي بالاترين رتبه بودند. تحليل داده‌ها نشان داد كه بيشتر دانشجويان خواهان يك سبك ساختاري راهنمايي از طرف استادان راهنما هستند. همچنين، بيشتر دانشجويان گزارش كردند كه بيشترين رضايت را از ميزان مهارت‌ها، شخصيت و تجربه استادانشان دارند، اما معتقد بودند كه استادان گرايش كمتري به سبك ساختاري دارند و لذا خواهان دخالت بيشتري از طرف استادانشان در جريان تكميل پايان نامه بودند. علاوه براين، تفاوت‌هاي معني‌داري بين ميانگين نظرهاي دانشجويان در زمينه رابطه نظارتي استادان راهنما، عوامل دخيل در انتخاب استاد راهنما با توجه به نوع دانشكده‌ها و جنسيت آنها مشاهده گرديد. تشكيل كارگاههاي آموزشي براي استادان راهنما و دانشجويان و ارايه توصيفي روشن و صريح از نقش استاد راهنما و دانشجو به آنان پيشنهاد مي گردد.

The overall goal of the present research was to study the graduate students’ views regarding the role of supervisor and students in the process of writing up the dissertation, extent of understanding and satisfaction level about supervision relationship with supervisor, and effective factors affecting the choice of supervisor. A quantitative research approach and a descriptive survey method are used. The research populations were all the graduate students at University of Kurdistan and sample of the study was 200 students. A stratified random sampling proportional to size is used. In this study, three normalized questionnaires are applied. Results showed that professor’s interaction style their and their social behavior with students have the highest ranks for selecting a supervisor. Results also indicated that most students are demanding a structural guidance style from their supervisors. Also, most students report a high satisfaction level about skills, personality and experience of their teachers. But, they believe that professors tend to have less structural style and therefore, call for a greater involvement of them in completing the thesis. Furthermore, significant differences in opinions were observed between the student’s opinions concerning the relationship of regulatory supervisor and factors involved in choosing supervisors considering the type of schools and their gender. Holding workshops for professors and students and providing a clear description is suggested.
