عليتِ فيزيكي: توصيف عليت بر پايه‌ي مفاهيم فيزيكي

Describing Causation by Way of Concepts of Physics

در سده ي گذشته، فيلسوفان در مفهومِ عليت بازنگري ژرفي كرده اند. نخست بدان سبب كه مفاهيم سنتي پاسخ گوي دركِ نوين از عليت نبوده است و ديگر اينكه مفاهيم تازه اي در علمِ نوين تعريف شده اند كه مي توانند آغاز و بنياد خوبي براي ساختنِ نظريه هايي پيشروتر باشند. در اين پژوهش، در پي معرفي اين گونه از نظريه ها هستيم كه نظريه ي فراينديِ عليت و نظريه ي كميت پايستار دو نمونه ي برجسته و كامياب از آن‌هاست. آغاز بحث ما، بي ترديد، نظريه ي انتظام هيوم به عنوان آغاز گر اين بحث ها خواهد بود و سپس روند شكل گيريِ نظريه هاي نوين را كه با نقد نظريه ي مذكور و افزودن يافته هاي فلسفي و فيزيكي تازه به آن شكل گرفته اند، پي خواهيم گرفت. از اين رو گام بعدي ما معرفي نظريه ي احتمالي و پس از آن نظريه هاي انتقالي، فرايندي و كميت پايستار خواهد بود.

Abstract: In the last century, philosophers have profoundly revisited the concept of causation. Primarily because the traditional conceptualizations were not compatible with our new understanding of causation, and also because some of the recent conceptualizations in modern science can establish a proper foundation to start constructing more progressive theories. Our goal, in this research, is to introduce such theories, amongst which the Process theory of causation and the Conserved quantity theory are two dominant and successful examples. We undoubtedly start our discussion with Hume’s Regularity theory of causation, and then we will follow the formation process of the modern theories which have been shaped by criticizing this theory and adding to it the new findings in philosophy and physics. Therefore, our next step will be introducing the Probabilistic theory of causation and after that the transition theory, the process theory and the conserved quantity theory of causation.
