اسلام با تبيين سيماي حقيقي زن و زدودن غبار اوهام و خرافه، حقوق مالي فراواني را براي وي ثابت كرد و ترسيم مالكيت مالي زن در سه فرض مالكيت اصلي، تبعي و حمايتي مهم‌ترين دليل بر توجه اين نظام حقوقي بر حفظ حقوق زنان است. بر اساس اين ساختار حمايتي مالي، تمام دارايي‌هاي قانوني متعلق به زن (ارث، مهر، نفقه، درآمد حاصل از كسب و ...)، ملك مطلق اوست و در انجام هر گونه تصرفي در آن مختار است؛ برخلاف حقوق مالي متعلق به شوهر كه فرزندان، همسر و پدر و مادر، به‌عنوان افراد تحت تكفل، در مصرف آن شريك هستند و حتي با ضمانت اجراي كيفري، حق مطالبه از درآمدهاي مالي وي را دارند. اين نوشتار درصدد است تا با مداقه در حقوقي چون ارث، ديه، مهريه، نفقه و تقسيم اين حقوق در قالب سه ساختار مالكيتي، نظام حمايتي مالي از زنان در نظام حقوقي اسلام را بر اساس مستنداتي چون آيات و روايت‌هاي معصومان(ع) با تمركز بر روايت‌هاي حضرت رضا‌(ع) مورد بررسي قرار دهد.
