Community- Based Organization of Neighborhoods and Residents’ sense of belonging to the neighborhood in Tehran

اداره ي كلان‌شهرها امروز به موضوعي مهم براي مديران شهري تبديل ‌شده است. از مهم‌ترين مفاهيم در اين زمينه، مفاهيم "مشاركت اجتماعي" و "احساس تعلق محله‌اي "شهروندان هستند كه امروزه مديران كلان‌شهرها در قالب دو نهاد سراي محله و شوراهاي شهر سعي نموده‌اند تا به بارور شدن اين دو مفهوم بپردازند. مطالعه ي حاضر به بررسي نقش محله محوري در ارتقاي سطح تعلق شهروندان به محله ي زندگي‌شان پرداخته است. اين پژوهش به‌ صورت پيمايشي در چهار محله ي تهران و با 400 نمونه –مستخرج از فرمول كوكران –انجام ‌شده است. نظريه ي غالب استفاده‌ شده در اين پژوهش دوركيم و پارسونز و پاتنام است. نتايج نشان مي‌دهد با نشات گيري اين طرح- محله محوري – از اخلاق مدني، در اداره ي كلان‌شهر تهران موثر عمل نموده و با كنترل گرايش به رفتار نابهنجار در هويت محله تاثيرگذار بوده است و با القاي حس تعلق و هويت محله‌اي موفق عمل نموده است و رضايتمندي اجتماعي مردم رابطه-ي محكمي با محله محوري نشان داده است. ميزان همبستگي محله محوري با احساس تعلق 0.802 بوده و محله محوري با رضايتمندي اجتماعي به ميزان 0.963 و محله محوري با احساس مسووليت به ميزان 0.693 همبستگي نشان داده است.

Given the complexities of modern megacities, one of the most important issues for city managers is how to encourage and obtain residents’ cooperation in running the city. Two of the most important concepts in this regard are "Community involvement" and "neighborhood Sense of belonging". The managers of megacities have utilized two institutions, namely "the Neighborhood house" and ʹCity council" to encourage resident participation. The purpose of the present article is to check the role of community-based organization of neighborhoods in enhancing citizen sense of belonging to the neighborhood. This research was performed as a survey and its sample included 400 individuals from 4 neighborhoods in Tehran (khani abad, janat abad, ozgol, and hakimie ). The ideas of Emile Durkheim, Talcott Parsons, and Robert Putnam were used in the development of theoretical framework. The results showed that the project of community-based organization- has been effective in reducing deviant behavior. This project has also been successful in creation of a sense of belonging among the residents and increasing their satisfaction with the neighborhood. The correlation coefficient of "Community-Based organization and Sense of responsibility" was 0.802 and that of " Community-Based organization and Social satisfaction” was 0.963 and of “Community- Based organization and Sense of responsibility was 0.693, all of which are considerably high
