The Role of Designing and Equipping Urban Parks in Attracting and Meeting the Need of Visitors (Case Study: Mashhad’s Urban parks)

شواهد تجربي نشانگر آن است كه فضاهاي سبز شهري در صورتي كه بر اساس نياز و علل مراجعه مردم به اين مكانها طراحي شده باشند، از عوامل اصلي بهبود كيفيت زندگي به حساب مي آيند. اين بررسي سعي دارد، نقش اينگونه فضاها را در آسايش و رفاه شهروندان مورد تحليل قرار دهد. به اين منظور از روش توصيفي و تحليلي بهره‌برداري شده است. اطلاعات مورد نياز با پرسشگري از نمونه‌اي به حجم 384 نفر در شهر مشهد به دست آمده است. ابزار گردآوري اطلاعات در اين بررسي پرسشنامه محقق ساخته بود. داده‌هاي به دست آمده، با استفاده از نرم‌افزار SPSS تجزيه و تحليل شدند. نتايج بيانگر آنند كه محيط‌هاي طراحي شده بر اساس نياز و خواست مردم بيش از ساير فضاها، سرزندگي و احساسات مثبت را در شهروندان تقويت كرده و بخش قابل ملاحظه‌اي از نيازهاي مادي و غيرمادي آنان را برآورده نموده است. اين شرايط نه تنها در انتخاب محل بازديد، بلكه در فراواني و كيفيت مراجعات نيز بسيار تاثيرگذار بوده است.

Experimental proofs are well indicative of the fact that green spaces in cities can be amongst the prime causes of enhancement in the quality of people’s life provided they are designed with regard to people’s need as well as their reason of visiting such places. This survey attempts to evaluate the role of such environments in providing public welfare for citizens. The method was descriptive and analytical. The required date were obtained through a sample as large as 384 people in Mashhad. The tools used for gathering the date were questionnaires. The gathered date were analyzed using the SPSS. The results verify that environments designed on the basis of people’s needs and desires had a stronger influence on arousing positive feelings and increasing joy and pleasure in citizens than the rest of environments and have also served to satisfy a considerable number of people’s physical and non physical needs. Such conditions were not only influential on the choice of the places visited but also were significantly effective on the frequency and quality of the visits.
