طی چندين سال همكاری با مجلات علمی كشور به عنوان داور، عضو هی أت تحريريه و سردبير با رفتارهای متعددغيراخلاقی در نشر روبه رو شده ام اما آن چه در روزهای اخير بكرات رخ می دهد ارسال هم زمان يك مقاله به دو يا چند مجلهاست. نظر به رشد روزافزون اقداماتی از اين دست كه با اخلاق نشر مغايرت دارد لازم ديدم در اين مقاله سردبيری به بررسیابعاد و تبعات آن بپردازيم.اگر يك نشری ه » در ماده 1 فصل ششم راهنمای كشوری اخلاق در انتشار آثار پژوهشی علوم پزشكی به صراحت آمده استچاپی يا الكترونيك دس تنوشته ای را پيش از اين منتشر كرده باشد يا در حال بررسی برای انتشار آن باشد، ارسال همان دست نوشتهاين مورد به قدری حايز اهميت است كه در راهنمای نويسندگان تمامی مجلات به «. به نشريه ديگر يا انتشار مجدد آن نادرست استآن تأكيد م يشود. با اين حال شايد آن چه دليل بی پروايی نويسندگان و به خصوص نويسندگان مبتدی در ارسال هم زمان مقالاتخود به چندين مجله می شود الزامات مؤسسه ای برای چاپ مقاله جهت اخذ مجوز دفاع از پايان نامه، ترفيع سالانه و يا ارتقای مرتبهدانشگاهی باشد.انتشار مجدد مقاله هزينه های زيادی را به مجلات علمی تحميل می كند، بی آن كه ارزش افزوده ای داشته باشد. اين كه يكمقاله در دو يا چند مجله و خصوصاً به يك زبان چاپ شود ب يترديد هدر دادن زمان، هزينه و تلاش های مجموعه علمی واجرايی مجلات است. آثار منفی اين اقدام زمانی بيشتر نمايان م يشود كه به نقش مجلات علمی حوزه سلامت در ارتقای كيفيتمراقبت های بهداشتی از طريق انتشار تازه ها و شواهد علمی معتبر توجه كنيم و اين نكته كه علی اصول ظرفيت بررسی و چاپمقالات در اين مجلات محدود بوده و انتشار مجدد يك مقاله فرصت پذيرش و چاپ را از مقاله ديگری سلب می كند.
چكيده لاتين :
During several years of cooperation with scientific journals in Iran as referee, member ofeditorial boards and editor in chief, I have faced with multiple non-ethical behaviors inpublication. These days, I am witnessed to submitting articles to two or more journalsimultaneously. Due to the growing pattern of this illegal action, this editorial will assess itsdimensions and consequences.The Article 1, Chapter VI of the National guidelines on Ethics of Publishing MedicalResearch has clearly stated: "If a manuscript is published or is being considered for publicationin print or electronically, re-publishing in or submitting to other journals is not allowed. Thisstatement is so important that the editors of the scientific journals have mentioned it in theauthor guidelines of the journals. However, what make authors, especially beginners, to submittheir articles to more than one journal are perhaps requirements of the Institutes for defending athesis, annual and/or academic ranks promotions.Republishing articles in scientific journals, especially in the same language, result inspending cost and taking time of the scientific and executive teams of the Journals and has noadded value. The negative effects of this action are more highlighted when the role of scientificjournals in promoting health care quality through publishing new and valid scientific evidencesand limited spaces of the journals are noticed.
