هويت و همسويگي طراحي و ساخت معماري با بنيان هاي فرهنگي و تاريخي از مهمترين موضوعات در حوزه «تبارشناسي تحليلي» است كه در عصر جهاني شدن و گسترش فناوري نيازمند همخواني بازخوردها و تعاملات «معماري، هويت و تكنولوژي» مي باشد؛ چنانچه، امروزه كاربرد معرفت علمي در طراحي معماري و شهر يكي از ابزارهاي شهرسازي مدرن است. پيشرفت سريع تكنولوژي و تاثير آن بر ساخت و ساز شهرها باعث تغيير در شهرها؛ و جبرگرايي و ساده گرايي تكنولوژيكي به عنوان يك رفتار هميشگي غالب گرديده است. از سويي ديگر، عدم هماهنگي و كاربست تكنولوژي در ساخت با هويت معماري و شهر نيازمند بهره گيري از زمينه گرايي در معماري است كه در مقاله حاضر مورد اشاره بوده است. اين تحقيق با روش توصيفي- تحليلي و روش تحليل استدلال منطقي انجام شده است كه از ابزار گردآوري داده مطالعات كتابخانه اي و اسنادي بهره برده است. نتايج تحقيق حاضر نشان مي دهد كه در بهره گيري از تكنولوژي هاي نوين ساخت، همخواني و همگونگي با ساختارهاي فرهنگي و هويت بيشترين اهميت را دارد كه رويكردهاي معماري زمينه گرا مي توانند رهيافتهاي نظري ارزشمندي در اين زمينه باشند؛ چراكه پيچيدگي ساخت و توليد معماري شهري نشان مي دهد كه تكنولوژي، بنيان و اساس كافي براي ساختار شهر نيست؛ هرچند كه به ساخت معماري و شهر كمك مي كند، اما به تنهايي براي تهيه امكانات و تسهيلات متنوع و نيازهاي گوناگون كافي بالاخص در حوزه فرهنگي و هويتي نيست. بر اين اساس، فهم عمومي از علم و استفاده آگاهانه از تكنولوژي در تعامل با هويت هر ملت با تاكيد بر زمينه هاي تاريخي، فرهنگي-اجتماعي و زيست محيطي، هم در فهم و تشريح پديده شهري و هم در شكل دهي آينده معماري شهري تاثيرگذار خواهد بود.
