وقت‌انگاري بازگشت موعود و پيدايش فرقه‌هاي جديد؛

Specifying the Time of the Promised Return of the Savior and the Emergence of New Denominations: Adventists, Jehovahʹʹs Witnesses and Bahaʹʹis

پس از مشاجره‌هاي كلامي بر سر موضوع صفات خدا، شايد مهم‌ترين انگاره‌اي كه مشاجره بر سر آن به ايجاد اديان يا گروه‌هاي ديني جديد انجاميده است، موعودباوري باشد. به باور نويسندگان اين مقاله، يكي از دلايل پيدايش فرقه‌هاي نوپديد ديني، پيش‌گويي زماني مشخص براي ظهور منجي است. گاهي تعيين زماني خاص در آينده‌ سبب شده است گروهي بر اساس همين باور گرد هم آيند و ارزش‌ها و پنداره‌هاي مشتركي شكل دهند و در نهايت، گروه ديني مشترك بسازند كه حتي پس از روشن شدن نادرستي پيش‌گويي‌شان، باز هم بر آن ارزش‌ها و انگاره‌هاي مشترك تاكيد دارند. در مسيحيت به ادونتيست‌ها و شاهدان يهوه و در اسلام به بهاييت مي‌توان اشاره كرد. اين فرقه‌هاي نوپديد ديني بر اساس پنداره پيش‌گويانه‌ رهبرانشان شكل گرفته‌اند. البته اين پيش‌گويي در هر كدام از آن‌ها نقشي متفاوت ايفا كرده و تاثيري خاص داشته است.

After the verbal disputes on the subject of Godʹs attributes, perhaps the most important religious discussion and dispute that have led to the creation of new religious groups has been the belief in apocalyptic ideas. The authors of this article believe that one of the reasons for the emergence of new religious sects is the prediction of a specific time for the Presence of the Savior. Sometimes, setting a specific time in the future has led a group to come together based on this belief and share common values and notions and finally form a common religious group. They, even after their predictions are seen wrong after the due date, still continue to emphasize the common values and ideas they retain. In Christianity, Adventists and Jehovahʹs Witnesses are noted and in Islam, the Bahaʹi Faith is an example. These new religious sects are based on the prophetic vision of their leaders, and yet they played a different role and have had special effect on each of them.
