بررسي اثر تجربي تورم بر جرايم در ايران

The Investigation of Inflation’s Empirical Effect of on Crime in Iran

تلاش براي تدوين سياست‌هايي جامع به‌منظور پيشبرد فرايند توسعه اقتصادي، اجتماعي، سياسي، فرهنگي و... جامعه ايجاب مي‌كند كه آثار تورم به‌عنوان يكي از مهم‌ترين مشكلات كشورهاي در حال توسعه در تمامي ابعاد زندگي افراد از جمله مسايل اجتماعي همچون جرايم كه سالانه هزينه‌هاي زيادي را متوجه افراد و جوامع مي‌كند مورد بررسي قرار گيرد. بدين‌منظور پس از بيان مباحث نظري، رابطه تورم با جرايم با استفاده از يك مدل داده‌هاي تلفيقي در سطوح مختلف زماني (كوتاه‌مدت و بلندمدت) به‌صورت تجربي و در سطح استان، طي دوره 1391-1376 بررسي مي‌شود و ميزان اثرگذاري اين متغير بر انواع جرايم از جمله جرايم دارايي و جرايم خشن در كنار ساير متغيرهاي مهم ديگر مشخص مي‌شود. نتايج مطالعه نشان مي‌دهد كه تورم همواره در بلندمدت و كوتاه‌مدت اثر معنادار و مثبتي بر انواع جرايم دارد و مقايسه كشش‌ها حاكي از آن است كه اثر تورم بر جرايم حتي بيشتر از اثر بيكاري بر جرايم مي‌باشد.

Effort to formulate comprehensive policies in order to advance the communityʹs economic, social, political, cultural etc., development process requires the effects of inflation be examined. Since it is one of the most important problems of developing countries in all aspects of life, including social issues such as crime, which impose heavy costs to individuals and society annually. For this reason, after the expression of theoretical subjects, the relationship between inflation and crimes is investigated by using an integrated data model at different time levels (short and long term) on an experimental basis and at the provincial level over the period 1997-2012. Furthermore, the effectiveness of this variable on types of crime, including property crime and violent crime are specified, along with other important variables. The results indicate that inflation always has positive and significant impact on types of crime in long-term and short-term periods, and comparison of tensions suggest that the effect of inflation on crime is even further than the effect of unemployment.
