تغيير نام و محتواي آموزشي حوزه كتابداري و علم اطلاعات بر اساس مفهوم هسته اين حوزه و پارادايم غالب عصر حاضر: تدوين چارچوبي براي تفكر

Changing the Name and Educational Content of Library and Information Science Based on the Core Concept and Present day Paradigm: a Faramework for Thinking

اين پژوهش به بررسي موضوع تغيير نام در حوزه كتابداري و علم اطلاعات اختصاص دارد. در ابتدا ضرورتها، دلايل، موانع، مشكلات و عواقب تغيير نام به اختصار مورد بررسي قرار گرفته است. در ادامه اشاره شده كه بحث تغيير نام نبايد در تقابل و در تضاد با تغيير محتوا ديده شود، زيرا اين دو اجزاي يك نظام واحد هستند و از اين رو قبل از هر چيز بايد چارچوبي براي چگونگي تغيير و انتخاب نام و حتي محتواي آموزشي تدوين شود. در اين راستا، اسامي مطرح شده از سوي يكي از اعضاي كميته برنامه ريزي كتابداري و علم اطلاعات به اختصار مورد نقد و بررسي قرار گرفته است. در جستجوي يك جايگزين مناسب براي عنوان فعلي اين حوزه، به اختصار به تعدادي از مطالعات صورت گرفته در اين زمينه اشاره شده و سپس عبارات علم اطلاعات) اطلاع شناسي يا دانش شناسي(، مديريت اطلاعات و مديريت دانش و ابعاد مثبت و منفي اين جايگزينهاي احتمالي مورد توجه قرار گرفته است. در ادامه بر اساس پارادايم غالب زمان و مفهوم هسته و پايه حوزه كتابداري و علم اطلاعات، يك چارچوب فكري يكپارچه به منظور تفكر درباره تغيير در نام و محتواي آموزشي اين حوزه پيشنهاد شده است. اين چارچوب فكري بر اساس مفاهيم اصلي و پربسامد در دامنه حوزه مذكور شكل گرفته است. در نهايت ملاكها و معيارهايي براي كمك به انتخاب يا خلق نام مناسب، و چند مورد از اسامي پيشنهادي كه از منظر اين پژوهش از بيشترين هماهنگي با اين معيارها برخوردارند، معرفي شده است.

The present study is devoted to the issue of change of the name of the area of library and information science. First, necessities, reasons, barriers, difficulties and outcomes of the change of name is addressed shortly. Then follows that change of name should not be seen in conflict with change in the content; because these two are parts of a same system. Therefore, before everything else, a framework should be provided for the way of change and selection of a name and even the content. In line with this, the names so called proposed by one of the members of the MSRT planning committee of library and information science are criticized shortly. In search of a suitable alternative name, some other studies in this respect are pointed out, then are considered names such as “Elm-e’ Etela’at” (Information Science), “Modiriat-e’ Etela’at” (Information Management) and “Modiriat-e’ Danesh” (Knowledge Management) and their positive and negative impacts of these probable alternatives. Based on the present day paradigm and the core concept of the area of library and information science, an intellectual framework is suggested to think over the change of name and content of this area. This framework is based on the main and frequent concepts available in this domain. Finally, some criteria are introduced for selection or creation of suitable names, and some names that look comply with these criteria are suggested.
