Investigation of Instantaneous Performance of Hand Grenade Fuzes

نارنجك‌ها، بمب‌هاي دستي كوچكي هستند كه حاوي مقدار معيني ماده‌ منفجره يا تركيب شيميايي بوده و عليه نفرات و تجهيزات دشمن به كار مي‌روند. در نارنجك ها زمان تاخير لازم توسط مواد پيروتكنيكي تاخيري تامين مي‌شود زمان تاخير مناسب در نارنجك‌هاي دستي بين سه تا پنج ثانيه مي‌باشد و زمان تاخير كمتر از يك ثانيه منجر به عملكرد آني شده و براي سربازان بسيار خطرناك مي‌باشد. در اين تحقيق عملكرد آني فيوز نارنجك دستي بررسي و مورد بحث قرار گرفت. نتايج اين تحقيق نشان مي دهد در اثر افزايش جرم آتش‌زنه‌ها، انرژي خروجي حاصل از احتراق آن افزايش يافته و مرحله ي بعدي زنجيره ي انفجار سريع‌تر آغاز شده و بنابراين زمان عملكرد كاهش پيدا مي كند. افزايش جرم آتش‌زنه بالا نسبت به آتش‌زنه پايين، تاثير بيشتري در كاهش زمان عملكرد نارنجك دستي جنگي دارد. همچنين اگر پايه ماسوره، خالي از مواد تاخيري و يا شامل مواد تاخيري پودري (پرس نشده) باشد نيز نارنجك به صورت آني عمل مي كند. در نهايت نتايج نشان داد، پرس نامناسب كه باعث كاهش چگالي مواد پيروتكنيكي تاخيري مي شود، مهمترين عامل عملكرد آني فيوز نارنجك دستي مي باشد.

Grenade devices are small hand bombs that contain certain amount of explosives or chemical compounds and are used against the enemy forces or their weaponry. Required delay time in grenades is provided by pyrotechnic dilatory composition. The proper delay time in hand grenades is 3 to 5 seconds and the delay time of less than 1 second results instantaneous performance that is very dangerous for soldiers. In this investigation, the effects of some experimental parameters on the instantaneous performance of hand grenade fuses have been studied and discussed. The results of this study shows that by increasing the mass of the tinder, more output energy from the combustion is produced and the next step of the explosion chain begins sooner so the performance time is reduced. Increasing the mass of the above tinder more than the bottom oneʹs reducied the military hand grenadeʹs performance time. If the bobbinʹs stand has got a powdery dilatory composition (not pressed) or it is out of them, the grenade will perform instantaneously. The results of the investigation has revealed that improper pressing which causes reduction in pyrotechnic dilatory composition is the most important factor in instantaneous performance of hand grenade fuses.
