چكيده:
ازجمله نيازهاي آدمي، نياز به تفريح سالم است كه براساس آموزه هاي ديني و سبك زندگي رضوي، بخشي از زمان مسلمانان را به خود اختصاص مي دهد. با اين‌حال، افراط در لذت جويي و سرگرمي، از مصاديق لهو و لغو و نيز اتراف و تن‌پروري، از آسيب-هاي تفريح ناسالم به‌شمار مي رود. به همين دليل در سيره و سخنان امام رضا(ع) بر پرداختن به تفريح سالم و حلال در چارچوب موازين شرعي و به اندازه تاكيد شده است. نكته جالب در سبك زندگي رضوي، توجه دادن فرد به شخصيت والا و اهداف متعالي انساني است تا جايگاهش را بالاتر از آن بيند كه به كارهاي بيهوده دست يازد. از سوي ديگر، بر پرهيز از مصارف زايد، تشريفاتي و تجملاتي با هدف تفريح و سرگرمي نيز به‌عنوان نمودهاي قناعت تاكيد شده است. نكته قابل توجه در اين عرصه، تاثير منفي افراط در لذت جويي و زياده روي در تفريح و سرگرمي و رفاه‌طلبي عمومي بر ايجاد تمدن و بقاي آن است، طوري‌كه به گفته ويل دورانت، اين خود يكي از علل افول تمدن بزرگ اسلامي پس از سده هفتم بوده است.
مسيله اصلي نوشتار حاضر، تبيين حد و مرز تفريح سالم و نقش آن در تمدن‌سازي در پرتو آموزه‌هاي رضوي است. روش گردآوري مطالب به‌صورت كتابخانه‌اي و شيوه بررسي، توصيفي‌ـ تحليلي است.
