بازتاب جبر و اختيار در كليله و دمنۀ بهرام‌شاهي

Reflection determinism and the Kalile and Dimne̛hs Bahram Shahi

چكیده تبادلات ادبی و فرهنگی میان ملّت‌ها، از دیر‌باز امری رایج و مرسوم بوده است، به‌گونه‌ای كه بازتاب بسیاری از گفتارها و اندیشه‌های فلاسفه، شعرا و نویسندگان یك جامعه را می‌توان در جوامع دیگر مشاهده كرد. در این میان تعامل فرهنگی و ادبی دو ملّت ایران و هند، به دلیل داشتن ریشة تمدنی مشترك از قدمت دیرینه‌ای برخوردار بوده است. تأثیر‌پذیری این دو فرهنگ را می‌توان در بررسی برخی از آثار ادبی از جمله كتاب كلیله و دمنه یافت. در این كتاب حیوانات دارای شخصیّت بوده و در عالمی همانند عالم انسانی زندگی می‌كنند. با تأمّل در كتاب مذكور می‌توان دریافت كه اعتقاد به مشرب فلسفی جبر در مذهب هندو از یك‌سو و رواج اندیشه‌های جبر‌گرایانة اشاعره در جامعة ایران قرن ششم از سوی دیگر، سبب شده است تا مضمون جبر به عنوان یكی از مفاهیم كلیدی و كاربردی این كتاب شناخته شود؛ با این وجود در بررسی كتاب كلیله و دمنه با برخی از حكایات و امثال مواجه می‌شویم كه هاله‌ای از اختیار بر آن سایه افكنده و بیانگر اندیشه‌های اختیار‌گرایانة نویسنده می‌باشد. این نوشتار سعی در بررسی این موضوع داشته و به تبیین نگرش نویسنده و تفكّرات جبر‌گرایانة وی كه در خلال حكایات انعكاس یافته است، می‌پردازد.

AbstractLiterary and cultural exchanges between nations have been common and conventional since the past times; thus the reflection of the plenty of the words and thoughts of a societyʹs philosophers, thinkers, and authors can be observed in other societies. Herein, the cultural and literary exchanges between the two nations, Iran and India, possess an aging history which is because of the two nationsʹ common civilization roots. These two culturesʹ interactions can be best discovered by studying some of the literary works such as Kelile O Demne. This book is one of the Indian ancient cultureʹs successes wherein the animals have been personalized and live in a world like the human world. Considering the forenamed book, it can be found that believing the philosophical principle determinism in Hinduism on one hand, and propagating the thinkersʹ determinism thoughts in the sixth centuryʹs Iranian society on the other hand, has caused the determinism concept to get known as one of the key and operational concepts of this book; nevertheless, studying the Kelile O Demne book, we face some anecdotes and allegories which have been overshadowed by free will and are indicative of the authorʹs free will thoughts. This paper tries to study this question and probe the authorʹs attitude and his determinism thoughts which have been reflected within the anecdotes.
