Ethical Responsibility of Children towards Their Parents in the Quran and the Bible

مطالعات تطبيقي در حوزه اديان، افزون بر ارتقاي سطح معرفت پيروان اديان نسبت به يكديگر، بسياري از ادراكات ناصحيح را مرتفع مي‌سازد. از ديگر سو، براي اثبات بهره‌مندي اسلام از حقيقت تام و كامل نيز روشي عالمانه و به‌دور از تعصب‌ورزي است. در اين ميان، خانواده به عنوان اصلي‌ترين نهاد اجتماعي در ارتقا و تعالي جامعه، همواره مورد توجه اديان، پيامبران الاهي و كتب مقدس بوده است؛ چراكه ايجاد هر نوع تغيير اجتماعي در جامعه، مستلزم نظرداشت اين نهاد به ظاهر كوچك ولي به جهت كاركرد عظيم و اثربخش است. پژوهش پيش‌رو با عنايت به اهميت اين مسيله با روشي علمي‌تطبيقي درصدد است با تكيه بر قرآن مجيد و كتاب مقدس (عهدعتيق و عهدجديد)، تكاليف و مسيوليت‌هاي اخلاقي فرزندان در مقابل والدين را بررسي و واكاوي كند. مسيوليت‌هاي اخلاقي فرزندان در برابر والدين در عهدين در شش مقوله احترام، اطاعت، مراقبت، تكريم، پشتيباني و احترام در پيري و در قرآن در هفت مقوله احترام، احسان، اطاعت، ادب‌ورزي، مراقبت در كهنسالي، پشتيباني و دعا براي آنان طبقه‌بندي و بررسي شده است. روش پژوهش كتابخانه‌اي و مبتني بر كتب مقدس است، ولي براي تبيين موضوع از برخي از شروح و تفاسير آنها نيز بهره گرفته شده است. يافته‌هاي پژوهش نشان مي‌دهد تشابهات بسياري ميان قرآن و عهدين در اين باره وجود دارد كه مي‌توان به مكلّف بودن فرزند در برابر والدين، اطاعت از آنها در همه حال غير از معصيت خدا، توجه به حقوق آنها حتي پس از مرگ و... اشاره كرد؛ ولي در عين حال، تفاوت‌هايي هم وجود دارد كه از آن جمله مي‌توان به محوريت جامع و تام خداوند در تمام آيات قرآن، توجه ويژه به مادر در قرآن و توجه بيشتر به پدر در عهدين و بيان مجازات‌هاي سخت براي فرزندان در عهدين براي مخالفت با فرمان والدين به خلاف قرآن و ... اشاره كرد.

Abstract Comparative studies of religions, in addition to its function in enhancing the adherentsʹ knowledge about each other eliminate many false perceptions. On the other hand, it can be applied to prove the ultimate truth of Islam in a scholarly manner and beyond prejudice. Meanwhile, family as a basic social institution with great influence on the promotion of society has always been paid attention to by religions, prophets and divine scriptures. Itʹs because applying any social changes requires special attention towards this seemingly small but practically great and influential social unit. Given the importance of this issue, the present paper, using scientific-comparative approach, seeks to identify the ethical duties of children towards their parents based on the teachings of Quran and Bible (Old and New Testaments). Childrenʹs ethical responsibilities towards their parents as reported in the Bible can be summarized in six different concepts: reverence, obedience, care, tribute, and support in senility, while in Quran these duties have been expressed under seven subjects: reverence, benefaction, obedience, courtesy, care in senility and support and prayer. The research has been done based on library method by referring to scriptures, although some of their exegeses for more elaborations have been applied as well. Based on the findings of the research, there are many similarities between the Quran and the Bible in this regard, for instance: children have commitment towards their parents, they are required to obey them in all cases except for their invitations to committing sins, parents are entitled to some rights even after death which should be fulfilled by children and … . There are some differences though, such as: in all Quranic verses Allah plays a dominant and pivotal role, special attention has been paid to mother in Quran while in the Bible, father has greater significance, in the Bible, harsh punishments have been mentioned for the children disobeying parents while in the Quran there is no mention of them and … .
