World Scientific Products in the Field of "Applied Ethics" in the Citation Database of I.S.I

هدف از پژوهش حاضر، بررسي توليدات علمي در حوزه «اخلاق كاربردي» در سطح جهان بر اساس شاخص‌هاي علم‌سنجي در پايگاه استنادي آي.اس.آي، معتبرترين پايگاه اطلاعاتي بين‌المللي در حوزه پژوهش‌هاي علم‌سنجي است. روش پژوهش پيمايشي‌مقطعي و از نوع كاربردي است. همه توليدات علمي نمايه‌شده پژوهشگران در اين پايگاه استنادي (1763 مدرك)، جامعه پژوهش را تشكيل داده است. براي گردآوري اطلاعات، از جست‌وجوي پيشرفته اين پايگاه استفاده شد. براي تحليل داده‌ها از نرم‌افزارهاي تحليل‌گر اين پايگاه و آمار توصيفي استفاده شده است و تمامي پيشينه‌ها در حيطه‌هاي موضوع، زبان، كشور، نويسنده، سال انتشار، نوع مدرك، مجله و موسسه و دانشگاه‌هاي برتر اين حوزه در سطح جهاني شناسايي و داده‌ها تجزيه و تحليل شده است. يافته‌هاي پژوهش نشان داد در مجموع، 61 كشور در نگارش مدارك حوزه اخلاق كاربردي در سطح جهاني نقش داشته‌اند كه از اين ميان كشورهاي امريكا، انگلستان، كانادا در رتبه‌هاي اول تا سوم قرار دارند و رتبه ايران 42 است. همچنين، مشخص شد بيش از90 درصد از مدارك موجود به زبان انگليسي است كه نشان از سو‌گيري اين پايگاه به زبان انگليسي دارد.

The aim of the present study is to investigate the scientific production in the field of "applied ethics" in the world, based on scientometric indicators in ISI citation databases, the most prestigious international database of research in the field of scientometrics. The study is conducted using cross- sectional survey and is regarded as an applied study. All the scientific products of researchers indexed in this citation database (including 1763 documents) make up the statistical population of the study. To collect data, the advanced search option from the website was used. For data analysis, the website analytical software and descriptive statistics were utilized. All the documents in the scopes of subject, language, country, author, year of publication, kind of document, magazine, institute and top universities active in this field from all over the world were identified and the collected data were analyzed. Based on the findings of this study, a total of 61 countries have been active in writing the documents in the field of applied ethics. The U.S, the U.K. and Canada are on the top of this list as with the highest number of written works. Iran is in the ranking of 42 on this list. Also, it was found that over 90% of the documents are in English, showing the orientation of the site towards English.
