رابطه نوع دوستي با دينداري و جهت‌گيري مذهبي

مقدمه: نوع‌دوستي، مفهومي است محصول قرن هجدهم كه اخيراً بيشتر بدان توجه شده و درباره آن پژوهش انجام مي‌گيرد. احتمالاً توجه به چنين موضوعي به ‌اين‌ دليل است كه تعارض و تباهي كنوني دنيا، باعث شده مردم بيشتر به بُعد مثبت وجود انسان فكر كنند. تحقيق حاضر با هدف بررسي رابطه نوع‌دوستي با دينداري و جهت‌گيري مذهبي در دانشجويان دانشگاه شهيد چمران اهواز انجام شد.

Introduction: The concept of altruism was the product of the eighteenth century, which has recently received more attention and as a result has been the subject of many studies. This attention is probably because of the worldʹs conflicts and corruptions which have caused more people to think about the positive dimension of human beings. Therefore, the present study is aimed to investigate the relationship between altruism and religiosity and religious orientation of students of Chamran University of Ahvaz. Method: This is a descriptive – correlation study. Its statistical population includes all the students of Chamran University in the school year 89-90. The sample size is 169 and the convenience sampling has been applied. Sample size and sampling of 169 persons is available. Tools used in this study are, the Moral Development Test of "Ma" and the scale of religiosity measurement. In order to examine the relationship between religiosity, altruism and religious orientation the Pearson correlation method was used. Findings: It has been found that there is a significant relationship between altruism and religion (r = 0.20, p = 0.009), and internal religious orientation (r = 0.31, p = 0), and external religious orientation (r = - 0.29, p = 0), religious beliefs (r = 0.17, p = 0.02) and bound religious duties (r = 0.23, p = 0.002), Conclusion: There is a relationship between altruism and religiosity and religious orientation, and as it can be seen, this relationship with internal religiosity and religious orientation is positive, and with external religious orientation is negative. Among subscales of religiosity, religious beliefs and commitment to religious duties has a positive relationship with altruism. So we can conclude that by increasing religiosity, the altruistic behavior is likely to increase as well. Also, by increasing altruism it is more likely for the believer to have an internal religious orientation.
