A Quranic Study on Sensation and Perception

هدف پژوهش حاضر عبارت است از استكشاف ديدگاه قرآن در باب ظرفيت شناختيِ انسان از سطح مادون احساس تا امور فوق ادراك بشري. سوال پژوهش پيش رو اين است كه قرآن در باب ظرفيت هاي شناختيِ بشر كه امروزه بسيار مورد مطالعه و بررسي قرار مي گيرد، چه ديدگاهي دارد؟ روش پژوهش، تحليل عقلي - نظريِ محتواي آيات قرآن در موضوع مورد نظر مي باشد. بعضي دستاوردهاي پژوهش حاضر عبارتند از: 1. از قرآن مطالبي در باب يك سير گسترده، شامل احساس، ادراك حسي، ادراك فراحسي، شناخت، فراشناخت، و امور فوق ادراك بشري قابل استكشاف است؛ 2. در قرآن بر شناخت و ارزش و ضرورت آن در زندگي روزمره تاكيد ويژه شده است؛ 3. مباحث فوق ادراك بشري، به طور ويژه مورد توجه قرآن است و مرتب به انسان يادآوري مي شود كه ظرفيت شناختي بشر به حدي نيست كه همه امور غيب و شهود را دريابد.

This study has sought to discover the humanʹs cognitive capacity including lower level of sensation (like primary feedbacks, abstract cognitive capacity and...) and the issues beyond mankindʹs perception (like nature of "Saghar", "Sejin", "Eliein", "Taregh" and...) from Quran. The question of the study was: what is the view of Quran on mankindʹs cognitive capacities which are taken into account more today? For replying that question, the whole Quran was studied verse by verse with the help of Quran by Quran interpretation and focusing on Izutsuʹs semantic analysis. Then the related verses were collected and finally an integrated approach was obtained by the content analysis of verses. Some study results were: 1) a vast flow consisted of sensation, sensory perception, hyper sensory perception, cognition, hyper cognition and the issues beyond mankindʹs perception can be discovered from Quran; 2) Quran particularly emphasizes on the cognition, its value and importance in the everyday life; 3) in Quran, the issues beyond mankindʹs perception are especially focused and it is repeatedly mentioned that the mankindʹs cognitive capacity is not able to understand all of the issues related to the unseen world completely.
