ملاحظات اخلاقي در حوزه مهندسي؛ يك رويكرد تصميم‌گيري

Ethics in Engineering; The Decision Making Approach

رابطه اخلاقي مهندسان با جامعه به‌واسطه محصولات و خدماتي كه به جوامع انساني ارايه مي‌دهند، داراي اهميت بسياري است. امروزه درك ارتباط بين فناوري و جامعه در مسايل مهندسي براي بررسي هنجارها، موفقيت و اثرات فناوري‌ها به‌كار مي‌رود و بسياري از تحليل‌هايي كه در حوزه علم و فناوري انجام مي‌شوند، دلالت‌هاي اخلاقي دارند كه در فرايند تصميم‌گيري موثر هستند. اين امر لزوم توجه به ملاحظات اخلاقي در تصميمات مهندسي را پررنگ مي‌سازد. در اين مطالعه، ابتدا سابقه فعاليت‌هاي علمي در زمينه اخلاق در مهندسي ارايه شده است. همچنين براي درك بهتر جايگاه اخلاق در مهندسي، فرايند كلاسيك مهندسي بدون در نظر گرفتن اخلاقيات مورد بررسي قرار گرفته و حوزه‌هاي كاربرد اخلاق در مهندسي و الگوهاي مسيوليت مهندسي به‌عنوان مقدمه‌اي بر جايگاه اخلاق در تصميمات مهندسي ذكر شده است. سپس روش‌هاي ادغام ملاحظات اخلاقي در تصميمات مهندسي مورد بررسي قرار گرفته و در نهايت، رويكردهاي نويني براي توجه بيشتر به ملاحظات اخلاقي در مهندسي ذكر شده است. آينده بشر به تصميماتي وابسته است كه ملاحظات اخلاقي در آن لحاظ شده باشند و مهندسي حوزه‌ا‌ي است كه براي توسعه و تشويق تحقيقات مرتبط با اخلاق، بسيار باز و مستعد است. صرف‌نظر از ابعاد فني، اقتصادي و غيره، بايد ملاحظات اخلاقي مربوط به كليه افراد تاثيرپذير از اين تصميمات را نيز در نظر گرفت. در اين راستا بررسي پيامدهاي تصميمات گرفته‌شده و توسعه مدل‌هاي تصميم‌گيري را مي‌توان از جمله رويكردهاي نوين براي بهبود فرايندهاي تصميم‌گيري برشمرد.

Ethical relationship between engineers and society is very important. Today, understanding the relationship between technology and society is used to investigate the norms, success and effects of technology. And analyses of science and technology fields have ethical implications that influence decision making processes. Therefore, it highlights the necessity of noticing the ethical regards in engineering decisions. In this review article, first the literature of ethics in engineering is presented. Also, to better understand the place of ethics in engineering, classical process of engineering is studied regardless of ethics and the scopes of applying ethics and responsibility models in engineering are mentioned as an introduction to the place of ethics in engineering. Furthermore, the methods of integrating ethical regards in engineering decisions are studied. Finally some new approaches are presented to pay more attention to ethical considerations in engineering. The future of mankind depends on decisions with ethical regards and engineering is an area that is open and fit to develop and encourage the ethical research. Regardless of technical, economical and …dimensions, the ethical regards related to people whom are influenced by the decisions should be considered. So, studying the outcomes of decisions and developing the decision making models are new approaches to improve the decision making processes
