مطالعه‌اي بر خودارزيابي دانشجويان از مهارت‌هاي مراقبت دارويي در دانشجويان پرستاري دانشگاه علوم پزشكي اروميه

THE STUDY ON STUDENT\ʹS SELF-ASSESSMENT OF PHARMACEUTICAL-CARE SKILLS IN NURSING STUDENTS, URMIA UNIVERSITY OF MEDICAL SCIENCES

پيش زمينه و هدف: آموزش داروشناسي در پرستاري به منظور كسب مهارت هاي لازم در زمينه مراقبت هاي دارويي بيماران انجام مي شود و كسب اين مهارت ها يكي از صلاحيت هاي ضروري حرفه پرستاري است. هدف از انجام اين مطالعه ارزيابي درك دانشجويان پرستاري از مهارت هاي مهم مراقبت دارويي خود است. مواد و روش ها: اين مطالعه توصيفي مقطعي با شركت تمامي دانشجويان سال هاي دوم، سوم و چهارم پرستاري انجام شد. داده ها توسط يك پرسشنامه متشكل از مشخصات دموگرافيك، ارزيابي از داشتن يا نداشتن ضعف و جدول مقياس اندازه گيري خودارزيابي دانشجو (SARS) جمع آوري گرديده و نهايتاً توسط نرم افزار آماري SPSS (Ver.16) و با روش هاي توصيفي و تحليلي (كاي دو) آناليز گرديد. يافته ها: 65/3 درصد مشاركت كنندگان مرد و 43/7 درصد زن بودند. به استثناي مهارت در زمينه آموزش به بيمار در ساير مهارت ها بيش از 65درصد دانشجويان ارزيابي ضعيفي از مهارت هاي مراقبت دارويي خود داشتند. دانشجويان بيشترين ضعف خود را در تشخيص عوارض جانبي داروها و بيشترين توانايي را در زمينه آموزش به بيمار ذكر نمودند. بحث و نتيجه گيري: دانشجويان ميزان مهارت هاي مراقبت دارويي خود را ضعيف ارزيابي مي كنند. اين يافته يك نقص برجسته را در صلاحيت هاي حرفه اي دانشجويان نشان مي دهد كه نيازمند توجه فوري براي رفع آن است. اميد است كه با بكار گرفتن شيوه هاي مناسب بتوان در بهبود هرچه بيشتر كيفيت آموزشي دانشجويان پرستاري تلاش مضاعفي نمود.

The Study on Studentʹs SelfAssessment of Pharmaceuticalcare skills in Nursing Students, Urmia University of Medical Sciences Zareie F [1]*, Baaghi P [2], Ghaderian Kh [3], Shams Sh[4], Naseri O [5] Received: 12 Jul , 2014 Accepted: 16 Sep , 2014 Abstract Background Aims: Pharmacology education in nursing is a process to teach the students to acquire the necessary skills in the field of patientʹs pharmaceuticalcares, and the acquisition of these skills is one of the necessary qualifications in the nursing profession. The aim of this study was to evaluate nursing studentʹs perception of their important skills in pharmaceuticalcare. Materials Methods: This crosssectional study involved all the nursing students in their second, third and fourth years of study. The data were gathered by a questionnaire consisting of demographic data, the question on presence or absence of weaknesses in pharmacology and table of SelfAssessment Rating Score (SARS), and they were finally analyzed by SPSS statistical software (ver.16). Result: 56/3% of participants were male and 43/7% were female. Except in patient education skills, in other skills over 65% of students had poor assessment of their pharmaceutical care skills. Students estimated themselves highly weak in their ability to detect the common side effects of medicines, and highly capable in patient education. Conclusion: Students evaluated their pharmaceutical careʹs skills as poor. These findings highlight a flaw in the studentʹs professional competencies that require immediate attention to fix it. We hope to be able to apply appropriate ways to further improve the quality of education of nursing students in an effort to double.
