بررسي وضعيت تعادل ايستا و پويا در پيش‌بيني خطر سقوط سالمندان تهران

REVIEWING THE STATIC AND DYNAMIC BALANCE IN PREDICTING THE RISK OF FALLS IN ELDERLY PEOPLE IN TEHRAN

پيش زمينه و هدف: بي تعادلي مهم ترين و عمده ترين علل سقوط است و سقوط يكي از مشكلات شايع دوران سالمندي هست كه موجب عوارض جسمي، روحي و مالي مي شود. پژوهش حاضر باهدف بررسي تعادل ايستا و پويا جهت پيش بيني احتمال خطر سقوط سالمندان داراي سابقه سقوط انجام گرديد. مواد و روش كار: مطالعه حاضر از نوع توصيفي و مقطعي هست. بدين منظور تعداد 160 فرد سالمند (130 زن، 30 مرد) 60 سال به بالا كه ساكن سراي سالمندي كامراني تهران بودند، به صورت سرشماري انتخاب شدند. پس از اخذ رضايت، اطلاعات دموگرافيك، آزمون برخاستن و حركت كردن زمان دار (TUG) و آزمون ارزيابي قابليت حركتي (POAM) جهت اخذ داده ها استفاده شد. از آمار توصيفي براي طبقه بندي داده ها و از آمار استنباطي من ويتني، كروسكال واليس و همبستگي پيرسون پس از بررسي نرمال بودن داده ها با استفاده از آزمون كولموگروف اسميرنوف جهت تجزيه وتحليل داده ها استفاده شد. يافته ها: از بين 160 نمونه اكثريت سالمندان زن (2/81 درصد) بودند. ميانگين و انحراف معيار سني 67/63±9/07 سال بودند. ميانگين و انحراف معيار آزمون برخاستن و حركت كردن زمان دار 20/58±7/1 ثانيه بود. ميانگين و انحراف معيار امتياز آزمون ارزيابي قابليت حركتي 18/41±3/78بود. مطابق با آزمون ارزيابي قابليت حركتي بيشتر سالمندان (58/8درصد) در گروه خطر سقوط بالا قرار داشتند. همچنين بيشتر آزمودني ها (55/9 درصد) با ثبت ركورد بيش از 20 ثانيه در آزمون برخاستن و حركت كردن زمان دار، مستعد به خطر سقوط بودند. بحث و نتيجه گيري: مطابق با يافته هاي به دست آمده، بيشتر سالمندان موردپژوهش در هر دو آزمون تعادلي مستعد به خطر سقوط بودند.

Falling can cause physical, emotional and financial effects in the elderly. This study aimed to assess the static and dynamic balance to predict the risk of falls in elderly people with the history of falls. Materials Methods: This is a descriptive and crosssectional study. Through a census sling method, 160 elderly individuals (130 females, 30 males) aged 60 years and over, living in Kamrani Nursing Home of Tehran were participated in the study. After obtaining informed consent, demographic information, timed lsquo get up and gorsquo test (TUG) and Performance Oriented Mobility Assessment (POAM) tests were used to assess the mobility problems in elderly people. Descriptive statistics, ManWhitney, Kruskalndash Wallis, and Pearson correlation, were used for data analysis. Normality of the data were assessed by using KolmogorovSmirnoff test. Result: From 160 elderly people participated in the study, the majority were females (81.2%). Mean plusmn SD of age was 67.63plusmn 9.07. Mean plusmn SD of TUG and POAM tests were 20.58plusmn 7.1 and 18.41plusmn 3.78, respectively. According to POAM test, 58.8% of the elderly people were at high risk of falls. Also, the majority of subjects (55.9%) attained a record of more than 20 seconds in TUG test that shows a prone to a high risk of falling. Conclusions: According to this study, the majority of elderly subjects were prone to the risk of falling.
