مطابقت مطالعات ارزيابي سيستم‌هاي اطلاعات سلامت در ايران با دستورالعمل گزارش مطالعات ارزيابي انفورماتيك ‏سلامت

An evaluation of the compliance of studies evaluating health information systems in Iran with the Statement on Reporting of Evaluation Studies in Health Informatics

مقدمه: مطالعات متعددي سيستم‌هاي اطلاعات سلامت را ارزيابي نموده، اما اغلب مطالعات از قالب استانداردي براي گزارش يافته‌ها استفاده نكرده‌اند. هدف از انجام اين پژوهش، تعيين ميزان مطابقت مقالات ارزيابي سيستم‌هاي اطلاعات سلامت به چاپ رسيده در مجلات فارسي با دستورالعمل گزارش مطالعات ارزيابي انفورماتيك سلامت (Statement on Reporting of Evaluation Studies in Health Informatics يا STARE-HI) بود. روش بررسي: در مطالعه مروري حاضر، مقالات مرتبط با ارزيابي سيستم‌هاي اطلاعات سلامت توسط يك چك‌ليست، با 51 اصل دستورالعمل STARE-HI مطابقت داده شد. اين مقالات با استفاده از تركيب دو دسته كليد واژه مربوط به مطالعات ارزيابي و سيستم‌هاي اطلاعات سلامت بدون محدوديت زماني تا سال 1391 از پايگاه‌هاي فارسي Iranmedex، Magiran و SID استخراج شد. در نهايت، داده‌ها بر اساس 13 بخش اصلي دستورالعمل دسته‌بندي و گزارش گرديد. يافته‌ها: از مجموع 727 مقاله بازيابي شده از پايگاه‌ها، 36 مقاله با اهداف پژوهش مرتبط بودند. بخش مقدمه در همه مقالات آمده بود، اما بخش سهم نويسندگان و تضاد منافع در هيچ مقاله‌اي ذكر نشده بود. ميانگين رعايت اصول دستورالعمل در كل مقالات مورد مطالعه 40/71 درصد، كمترين آن 94/52 درصد و بيشترين آن 35/82 درصد بود. نتيجه‌گيري: شيوه نگارش و ساختار مطالعات ارزيابي سيستم‌هاي اطلاعات سلامت نياز به ارتقا دارد. با ذكر اطلاعات ضروري در مقالات و استفاده از دستور‌العمل موجود در طراحي راهنماي نويسندگان مجلات، مي‌توان كيفيت گزارش مطالعات در اين حوزه را بهبود بخشيد. بهبود شيوه گزارش مقالات مي‌تواند باعث به كارگيري بيشتر و بهتر نتايج پژوهش‌هاي انجام شده و افزايش استناد به آن‌ها گردد. واژه هاي كليدي:مطالعات ارزيابي؛ سيستم‌هاي اطلاعات سلامت؛ انفورماتيك پزشكي؛ دستورالعمل گزارش مطالعات ارزيابي انفورماتيك سلامت

Introduction: Numerous studies have evaluated health information systems in Iran, but most studies have not followed a standard format for reporting their findings. The objective of this study was to evaluate the compliance of health information systems’ evaluations published in Persian journals with the Statement on Reporting of Evaluation Studies in Health Informatics (STARE-HI). Methods: This was a review study in which papers reporting on evaluation of health information systems were assessed in terms of 51 principles of the STARE-HI using a checklist. These papers were retrieved from the Persian databases of Magiran, IranMedex, and SID using appropriate keywords. Data were classified and reported based on 13 main sections of the STARE-HI. Results: From the 727 retrieved papers, 36 were relevant to the study objectives. All paper had an introduction section, but none of the paper had the authors’ contribution and conflict of interests sections. The mean compliance of articles with the STARE-HI was 71.4%, with the lowest being 52.94% and the highest being 82.35%. Conclusion: The writing style and structure of studies evaluating health information systems require improvements . The quality of study reports can be improved through reporting essential information in articles and using corresponding guidelines in the design of authors’ instruction sections of journals. Improving the reporting format of papers can result in better and higher rate of application of study results and increased citation of articles.
