"The history of present" Foucault and philosophical meditations on History

هر تحقيق تاريخي، چه در حوزۀ جامعه‌شناسي تاريخي و چه در ديگر عرصه‌هاي علوم انساني، ناگزير است كه به برخي پرسش‌ها و مفروضاتي بينديشد كه پنداشت‌هاي فلسفي و روش‌شناختي اثر را شكل مي‌دهند. پيش‌فرض‌هايي كه براساس آن‌ها، روايت تاريخي ارائه و تحليل مي‌شود. ازجمله افرادي كه بخش عمده‌اي از آثارش را به‌صورت تحقيقاتي تاريخي عرضه كرد، ميشل فوكو متفكر و فيلسوف فرانسوي است. مقالۀ حاضر شامل نكات مختصري است دربارۀ انديشۀ وي، به‌ويژه بحث درباب نسبتِ رويكرد او با تاريخ. فوكو به‌طوركلي از پيش‌فرض‌ها و پنداشت‌هاي برخي شيوه‌هاي تاريخ‌نگاريِ رايج فاصله گرفت و اصولي ديگر را در نوشتن تاريخ پيشه كرد. اين اصول به‌گونه‌اي جدايي‌ناپذير، در پيوند با تأملات فلسفي و فكري اوست و تنها مي‌توان در نسبت با مفاهيم و اصول اساسي انديشۀ وي، برخي وجوه آن را كاويد.

Every historical research whether in the field of historical sociology or other areas of the humanities is necessarily based on some hypotheses and questions which form the philosophical and methodological assumptions of the work these assumptions provide a basis for presenting and analyzing historical narrative. One of the thinkers who had devoted a major part of his work as historical research is the French philosopher, Michel Foucault. This article includes some points about his idea, especially his approach towards history. He generally evaded from some assumptions and suppositions of common historiography and dealt with other principles in writing the history. These principles are inseparably in connection with his philosophical and Intellectual reflections, and one can investigate some aspects of them, only with respect to the fundamental concepts of his thought.
