موقعيت‌‌‌‌سنجي جهان اسلام در مرزبندي شمال جنوب

Positioning of the World of Islam in NorthSouth Demarcation

اين مقاله تلاش‌دارد با بررسي شرايط و ويژگي‌هاي اقتصادي، اجتماعي و فرهنگي كشورهاي اسلامي، موقعيت كلي اين كشورها را در مرزبندي شمال جنوب مشخص‌سازد. مقاله براي اين منظور طيف متنوعي از معيارهاي توسعه‌اي را براي تشريح وضعيت توسعه‌اي بلوك كشورهاي اسلامي به‌كارمي‌گيرد و آستانه‌هاي مشخصي را براي ترسيم مرزبندي شمال و جنوب مدنظرقرارمي‌دهد. اين معيارها، امكان انجام مقايسه‌هاي منظم و منطقي در داخل بلوك كشورهاي اسلامي و ميان گروه كشورهاي اسلامي با ديگر گروه‌بندي‌هاي توسعه‌اي مطرح همچون جهان در حال توسعه و جهان پيشرفته را فراهم‌مي‌سازد. مقاله در جستجوي پاسخ به اين پرسش اصلي است كه مجموعه كشورهاي جهان اسلام با توجه به متغيرها و شاخص‌هاي عمده توسعه، چه جايگاهي در سطح جهان دارند و موقعيت آنها نسبت‌به مرزبندي شمال و جنوب چگونه است؟ در پاسخ به اين سؤال مقاله نشان‌مي‌دهد كه كشورهاي حوزه جهان اسلام بر اساس متغيرها و شاخص‌هاي عمده توسعه، وضعيت ناهمگني دارند؛ اما به‌طور كلي بر اساس مرزبندي‌هاي موجود، موقعيت جهان اسلام با بخش ضعيف‌تر كشورهاي جنوب (جنوب پايين) قابل انطباق است. عدم توفيق بلوك كشورهاي جهان اسلام در زمينه توسعه علمي و جذب و به‌كارگيري فناوري‌هاي پيشرفته، جزو مهم‌ترين عوامل موقعيت ضعيف كشورهاي اسلامي در سطح جهان به‌حساب‌مي‌آيد. مقاله طيف گسترده‌اي از داده‌هاي كمّي و كيفي را در راستاي آزمون فرضيه به روش تحليلي و توصيفي مورد تجزيه و تحليل قرارداده‌است.

The present paper is an attempt to study the position of the Islamic countries in the NorthSouth division through studying their economic, social and cultural conditions. Hence a number of criteria have been studied to explain the developmental condition of the bloc of Islamic countries and a specific threshold has been set to the depict the NorthSouth demarcation. These criteria prepare the grounds for a logical comparison within the Islamic world bloc and between the bloc of Islamic countries and other developmental groupings such as the developing and developed worlds. The main question of the present paper is as follows:  what is the position of the countries constituting the Islamic world in the world and in the division of North and South? The findings of the paper indicate that the countries of the world of Islam, on the basis of main development indexes and variables, are not congruent. But on the basis of the existing demarcations, the condition of the world of Islam is compatible with the weak countries of the South. The failure of the countries of the world of Islam in scientific development and attraction and employment of advanced technology are among the factors for their weak position on the world level. Qualitative and quantitative data have been used through analyticaldescriptive method to test the hypothesis.
