مطالعه رابطه بين سرمايه اجتماعي كاربران ايراني در فيس‌بوك و مشاركت مدني آنها در دنياي واقعي

Examining the Relationship between Iranian Facebook Users Social Capital and their Real Civil Participation

از دهه گذشته تاكنون، شبكه‌هاي اجتماعي به عنوان يكي از جديدترين امكانات اينترنت همه‌گير شده‌اند. ضرورت اين پژوهش از آن روست كه اين شبكه‌ها با استقبال گسترده كاربران رو به رو شده و در حال حاضر تعداد زيادي از اين شبكه‌ها فعال هستند. در بين شبكه‌هاي اجتماعي مجازي، فيس‌بوك از موقعيت متمايزي برخوردارست؛ چراكه در حال حاضر پربازديد‌ترين شبكه اجتماعي دنيا به شمار مي‌رود. هدف اين پژوهش مشخص كردن رابطه سرمايه اجتماعي در فيس‌بوك با مشاركت مدني كاربران در دنياي واقعي است. نمونه‌گيري با استفاده از روش‌هاي هدفمند و گلوله برفي انجام شده و روش پژوهش نيز پيمايش برخط بوده است. ضمن آنكه تعداد 674 نفر به پرسشنامه، پاسخ داده‌اند. بعد از تحليل داده‌ها مشخص شد بين سرمايه اجتماعي در شبكه‌ اجتماعي فيس‌بوك و مشاركت مدني در دنياي واقعي رابطه مثبت وجود دارد. همچنين مشخص شد در بين شاخص‌هاي سرمايه اجتماعي، باز/ بسته بودن شبكه دوستان، تراكم شبكه، شرايط دستيابي به منابع، شكاف بين منابع موجود و مورد انتظار، رعايت هنجارها و قواعد، اعتماد نهادي/ مدني و هنجارهاي كنش متقابل شاخص‌هاي تبيين‌كننده مشاركت مدني كاربران هستند.

Over the last decade, social networks became ubiquitous as the latest option the Internet provided individuals with. This study is significant because social networks have received public attention and there are many of them right now. Among all virtual social networks, Facebook enjoys a distinguished position, because it is the most widely used social network in the world. This research aims to shed lights on the relationship between social capital in Facebook and users’ civil participation in real world. Purposeful snowball sampling was used to select 674 individuals to take part in the online survey by filling in a questionnaire. The findings indicate that there is a positive significant relationship between social capital in Facebook and users’ civil participation in reality. Furthermore, among social capital indicators, there are six indicators explaining users’ civil participation, i.e. openness/closeness of friends’ network; network’s concentration; conditions for accessing resources; gap between existing and expected resources; observing norms and regulations; institutional/civil trust as well as interactions’ norms.
