A Political Analysis of Body Language in ‘Beihaghi History’

زبان بدن به معناي عبور از كلام و ايجاد ارتباط از طريق عناصر غيركلامي يا زبان خاموش است. اين زبان مجموعه وسيعي از رفتارها و پديده‌هاي اشاري و حركتي را شامل مي‌گردد و در سياست، به طور مستقيم يا غيرمستقيم كاربرد دارد. يك سياست‌مدار مي‌تواند نقش و نيّت واقعي خود را در پسِ واژه‌ها و جمله‌ها پنهان كند، امّا قادر به نهان‌ داشتن زبان بدن نيست. از اين رو، با تحليل حركات و اشارات بدني سياست‌مداران مي‌توان به مكنونات ذهني، فكري و اهداف سياسي‌ آنها پي برد. مصاديق زبان بدن را به عنوان يكي از ابزارهاي ارتباط غيركلامي در تاريخ بيهقي مي‌توان به چهار دسته تقسيم كرد: 1) حركات و حالات چهره. 2) اشارات و حالات سر و تن. 3) حركات و اشارات دست. 4) ساير رفتارهاي حركتي. حالات چهره، نمودار مهارت يك سياست‌مدار در مقوله‌هايي نظير خويشتنداري، تمايل به ايجاد ارتباط و بي‌اعتنايي است و بر مفاهيمي چون تأييد، تكذيب، تأسّف، تمسخر و ظاهرسازي دلالت مي‌نمايد، همان‌گونه كه حركات دست مي‌تواند دالّ بر احترام، پيمان، وفاداري يا قتل و دستگيري باشد. نكته مهم اينكه بسياري از موضوعاتي را كه امكان طرح آنها در ارتباط كلامي وجود ندارد، يا به مصلحت نيست، مي‌توان با زبان بدن مطرح كرد. باري، زبان بدن را بايد يكي از انواع فرازبان دانست كه اگرچه پيامش به نافذترين شكل انتقال مي‌يابد، امّا هيچ‌ گونه ردّ و نشان قابل استنادي به‌ جا نمي‌گذارد و به همين دليل، در حوزه سياست بسياري از ناگفتني‌ها را با زبان بدن مي‌گويند.

Body Language refers to the application of metalinguistic or nonverbal elements to have communication. This language includes a broad set of gestural amp; behavioral phenomena which are directly or indirectly applied for political purposes. Although politicians can conceal their real roles and intentions behind words amp; sentences, they cannot hide the elements of their body language. The analysis of politicians’ bodily movements amp; gestures makes it possible for us to delve into their political mindset, thoughts amp; goals. As tools for the analysis of nonverbal communication in ‘Beihaghi History’, the elements of body language can be categorized into four main classes; 1)facial expressions amp; movements; 2)body amp; head gestures amp; movements; 3) hand movements amp; gestures; and finally 4)the other movement behaviors. Facial expressions which reflect a politician’s skills for continence and tendency for communication or ignorance imply concepts such as verification, rejection, regret, humiliation and pretence. While hand movements can imply other concepts such as respect, accord, loyalty, murder and capture. The point worth considering is that many issues which are impossible to be verbally expressed or communicated can be expressed through body language or nonverbal communication. More importantly, body language as a metalanguage not only has the potentiality to convey the intended message in the best possible manner, but also it leaves no justifiable clue for the message expressed nonverbally. That is why many political unspeakable issues are easily expressed through body language.
