The Universality of Intuition an aposteriori Criticize to an apriori Assumption

نقش شهود در فلسفه بسيار گسترده است. اين گستردگي نقش و اهميت ويژه آن به خاطر كاربردي است كه براي شهود به عنوان شاهد و گواه در توجيه بسياري از باورهاي مبناييدر نظر گرفته مي شود. از آشناترين موارد ايفاي چنين نقشي براي شهود مي توان به مثال هايي مثل گتيه در معرفت شناسي، ملت چين در فسلفه ذهن، يا پيوند عضو در فلسفه اخلاق و غيره اشاره كرد. آنچه در اين مثال ها اهميت دارد آنست كه در تمامي آنها شهودهاي عقلاني، عام و جهانشمول در نظر گرفته مي شوند. اما در ادامه پروژه كواين در طبيعي سازي معرفت شناسي و نظريات برون گرايانه معرفت شناساني چون گلدمن، جريان متاخري كه laquo فلسفه آزمايشگرانه raquo خوانده مي شوند، سعي نموده اند شهود را به صورت علمي و آزمايشگاهي بررسي كنند. اين شيوه بررسي به نقش علم و دستاوردهاي آن براي حل مسائل فلسفي بسيار توجه دارد و با طرح آزمايش هايي سعي نموده نشان دهد كه تفاوت هاي فرهنگي، موجد تفاوت در شهود عقلاني و يا اخلاقي افراد بوده و ديگر نمي توان شهود را دستاويز و ابزاري براي طرح نظريه خود در نظر گرفت.

Intuition has a central role in philosophy, the role to arbitrating between different opinions. When a philosopher shows that quot intuitionquot supports his view, he thinks this is a good reason for him. In contrast, if we show some contraries between intuition and a theory or some implications of it, we think a replacement or at least some revisions would be needed. There are some wellknown exles of this role for intuition in many fields of philosophy the transplant case in ethics, the chinese nation case in philosophy of mind and the Gettier exles in epistemology. But there is an assumption here we suppose all people think in same manner, i.e. we think intuition(s) is universal. Experimental philosophy tries to study this assumption experimentally. This project continues Quines movement to quot pursuit of truthquot from a naturalistic point of view and making epistemology quot as a branch of natural science.quot The work of experimental philosophy shows that in many cases people with different cultural backgrounds reflect to some specific moral or epistemological cases ndash like Gettier exles differently and thus intuition is not universal. So, many problems that are based on this assumption maybe dissolved, have plural forms for plural cultures or bounded to some specific cultures ndash western culture in many cases.
