حمايت مبنايي اديان توحيدي از علم مدرن

Monotheistic Religions’ Fundamental Support for Modern Science

در اين مقاله دو پيش‌فرض اساسي حاكم بر هر پژوهش علمي يعني ممكن بودنِ شناخت و معقوليت قانونمند پنداشتن جهان و اينكه قواي شناختي انسان قابل اعتماد است و انسان مي‌تواند به شناخت از جهان دست يابد، به‌عنوان مهم‌ترين نقاط ريشه‌اي تعامل دين و علم و حمايت اديان از علم مدرن مورد بررسي قرار خواهد گرفت. نشان داده مي‌شود كه اديان ابراهيمي هم به طريق نظري و هم در عمل در طول تاريخ پيشرفت علم، توانسته‌اند اين دو پيش‌فرض اساسي را تبيين نمايند و در ناخودآگاه دانشمندان و دانش‌پژوهان بنشانند. سپس نشان داده مي‌شود كه طبيعت‌گرايي متافيزيكي از دادن تبيين مناسبي از اين دو پيش‌فرض پايه‌اي ناكام است.

Attempts have been made to study two presuppositions dominating any scientific research as the most radical points in interaction between religion and science and support of religion for modern science, i.e. the possibility of cognition and rationality of considering the world as a lawful and orderly entity and that man’s cognitive senses are reliable and he can achieve cognition of the world. Also it will be demonstrated that during the course of development of science, Abrahamic religions have been able to explain these two presuppositions in theory and practice and establish them in the unconsciousness of scientists and scholars. Moreover, it will be demonstrated that metaphysical naturism is unable to give an appropriate explanation of these two presuppositions.
