اهميت استراتژيك تنگه تيران در منازعات جنوب غرب آسيا

يكي از منازعات مهم ژيوپليتيكي جنوب غرب آسيا، منازعه بر سر تنگه تيران واقع در شمال شرق درياي سرخ مي‌باشد. تنگه تيران و جزاير تيران و صنافير در دهانه ورودي خليج عقبه، در شمال درياي سرخ قرار دارند. اين منازعه طولاني چندين كشور بطور هم زمان داراي درگيري مي باشند. تنگه تيران به دليل موقعيت استراتژيك از همان ابتداي تشكيل اسراييل در منازعات اعراب و اسراييل نقش اصلي را بازي كرده، و بهره-برداري كشورهاي عربي از اين تنگه به‌عنوان يك عامل مهم ژيوپليتيكي براي اعمال فشار به اسراييل از دلايل اصلي شروع بحران در دهه هاي گذشته بوده است. هدف اين مقاله كه با روش تحقيق توصيفي_تحليلي و با استفاده منابع كتابخانه اي انجام پذيرفته است، تبيين اهميت استراتژيك تنگه تيران در منازعات جنوب غرب آسيا است. سوال اصلي اين پژوهش به اين شكل بيان شده است كه "تنگه تيران در منازعات جنوب غرب آسيا چه جايگاهي داراد؟" يافته‌ها نشان مي‌دهد كه اهميت و جايگاه تنگه براي اسراييل كه در محاصره كشورهاي عربي قرار دارد، بيشتر از ساير كشورهاي درگير در منازعه است. اسراييل، در گذشته با اين استدلال كه حق آزادي كشتي راني آن توسط كشورهاي همسايه نقض شده است به آغاز جنگ مبادرت كرده است. شكست كشورهاي عربي در جنگ و تصرف جزاير مشرف بر تنگه به‌وسيله اسراييل و امضاي قراردادهاي صلح حق آزادي كشتي راني را براي اين رژيم به ارمغان آورده و دستيابي به اهداف ملي را امكان‌پذير كرده است. ورود به درياي سرخ، نفوذ در شرق آفريقا و افزايش عمق استراتژيك اين رژيم را از بن بست جغرافيايي رهايي بخشيده است.
